Unfortunately, the franchise is extremely prone to being highjacked to promote regressive leftist propaganda as said mad scientist is an escaped Nazi war criminal, meaning there would likely be attempts by said extremists to push conspiracy theories about neo-nazis/white supremacists.

I have zero hope for Wheel of Time. I used to want a Ringworld series but considering modern Hollywood not so much. Also Skyrim main quest could be adapted but not so much now

Cybersix is an interesting one. If I recall there was more risque stuff in the original, i think South American comic, that I never read. I think there's enough material between the comic and the cartoon to turn it into an abomination for sure. Plus it has some cult status, making it a good target.
