I'm kind of wondering what was this for again

Slightly waking up then, but too bad you didn't come to that realization 4-5 years ago before getting into a massive pile of debt to get a psychology degree of some kind. What kind of job were you hoping that degree was preparing you for? What were you hoping to do with your life?

And, probably most importantly, what are you going to do now that you realize your pieces of paper are just pieces of paper, just whine about it on the internet or go make something of yourself? Will you deign to do something like answer Bart's phones (or something similar), or are you just going to beg Big Daddy Government to subsidize your whole life? Sadly, I think I know the answer there.

they were made up for some reason.

"For some reason" being "we need to keep the MUH RACISTS train running until November"

So

  1. Baltimore Harbor closed for the foreseeable future, until the debris gets cleared

  2. MASSIVE traffic problems in the area (apparently 30,000+ cars used that bridge daily, they have the tunnels but those are going to be way too over-stressed to accommodate all of that)

  3. Third longest continuous-span bridge in the world is now rubble

Will this finally wake people up? I doubt it.

Yeah, and looks like they're all white as well. They should be happy they're out of work so some Strong, Diverse, Disabled Person of Color can be in their position.

Ah, a man of culture when it comes to siege weapons. I approve!

This. IQ is a cap on your ability, and most schools don't push students anywhere near the cap. Let's say, for example, you take 2 people with, say, 85-90 IQ and put them in two different classes, one class which actually demands stuff of one student and the other is equity-math BS or something. The one from the class that demands stuff is going to be at a much better state at the end of the year than the equity-math guy. True, neither will be going on the calculus but the difference will be quite noticeable.

OK, I refuse to believe this is a real story. Because how on earth is someone's real name "Delegance Crawl"?

Nah, too much nuclear fallout from glassing the state. We just need the San Andreas fault to trigger a massive earthquake and turn into the San Andreas canyon.

Nobody should be head of DHS, because DHS should be abolished. We did perfectly fine from 1789 to 2002 without it, and I can't see any way we're better off now than we were in 2002 with it.

The main course for the meal. All the things he mentioned were sides - you can confirm this with Steve1989's videos going back for years on taste-testing MREs from various countries. Crackers, peanut butter, energy bar, etc. are just sides/snacks.

Edit: From what you can see at 1:25 in the video, I'm 99% sure that the meal he got was "Veggie Crumbles w/Pasta in Taco Style Sauce" from the 2016 menu (list of MRE menus are available here and at 1:25 you can clearly read crumbles and taco style sauce) Personally, I would not want to be eating that but as you can see in his "review" he mentioned nothing that would correspond to anything like that.

Perhaps she and Biden could a cut a deal for her to become the next attorney general — if he’s reelected.

Now that is a new level of nightmare fuel I didn't need. As California AG she openly defied the Supreme Court to keep convicts in jail so that they would have more inmates to draft to fight wildfires. And someone wants her to be AG of the US? Absolute madness.

Is this peak clown world? Because I'm pretty sure arresting and deporting a guy who wanted to talk about deporting illegal aliens is peak clown world.

“i just stopped taking yall seriously when yall start running around saying white people can experience racism because i did not suffer through 2020 for yall to act like you werent an ally to blm 4 years later.”

Well, good news! I wasn't ever, and never claimed to be, an ally to Burn, Loot Murder so you don't need to be upset about that!

white people are not systematically affected negatively by racism.

Says the person who openly said "I will not hire any white people". Seems pretty systemic to me!

We’re dedicated to delivering fans a definitive and authentic Black Panther experience, giving them more agency and control over their narrative than they have ever experienced in a story-driven video game.

I would be amazed if this "control" is even at the same level of narrative control Mass Effect 3 had. I would be shocked if it allows people to do things which sever the thread of prophecy. And I'll happily buy the game if it lets us something close to the narrative control players have over poor Urist and his clan.

Looking at the world today, can anyone name anything which is wildly popular among teenage girls which is actually good for society (or even neutral, honestly)? Because it seems like "teenage girls made it popular" is a pretty good reason to default to hating something.

Well, that's it for Fallout. Bethesda has now taken a massive dump on the West Coast, in addition to than the East Coast so there's nothing left now.

This. And the fascination with Palestine among the left is just as absurd as the fascination with Israel among the right - why are they so concerned there when they just ignore that even more children have died as a result of the war the US govt has been financing in Yemen

The in-state pronunciation in Ho-chul. Kathy the slack-jawed ho-kel sounds a lot more amusing, though. I'll have to start using that.

there are few things that provoke as visceral a reaction as the prospect that ecological disaster might force you to eat something gross,

I doubt anyone has that concern. In fact, I can't imagine any ecological disaster that leaves humans alive but wipes out all possible food sources except for insects.

The problem is a political disaster forcing people to do that. But, of course, that's just a conspiracy theory despite you nutjobs writing yet another article about how it's A Good Thing (tm)

As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master.

Alpha Centauri called it, except they missed that the UN would be pushing to remove the free flow of information.

Very mild. only a retard would be upset at what he said.

I am very upset. Not at what he said (and agree the down syndrome bit was very mild) but at wasting a few minutes of my life because that whole clip was just incredibly awkward and cringy. Is that seriously considered entertaining by people?

Reminder: The world is not a safe place

This is the truth, and not just for different countries/cultures. It applies to the whole world.

The natural state of man is abject poverty, a few days if not hours away from dying of starvation, infection, broken limbs, excessive heat/cold/water/fire, hungry animals, and countless other miserable ways to die.

Every action of human advancement, from when Crog the caveman first figured out how to secure a pointy rock to a stick up until today has been Crog (and descendants) telling Mother Nature (who is an absolute, murderous monster) and that complete jerk Grog living in the next cave over "Screw you, I'm going to keep me and mine safe and try to get us lives which are as comfortable as possible!"

I don't know if it is ignorance, ridiculously easy lives where they're never had to do anything hard, a sense of entitlement/superiority, or a combination thereof, but the same people who ignore the dangers around them (and amplify minor o non-dangers) also seem determined to undo as much of what civilization as accomplished over history as possible.

“This is a delayed reaction to the commercial Internet itself,” he said. “I don’t know if anything could have been done differently.”

What you could have done differently is simple.

  1. Actually tell the truth, rather than just pushing your personal propaganda

  2. Stop having blatant, obvious contempt for huge amounts of your potential audience

Keep repeating steps 1 and 2
