No, hoax is the right word. Well, hoax or extreme levels of idiocy even for CNN (which is quite a stretch, I know).
First, why is there only one locked door in the whole prison?
Second, why do they cut the camera when "shooting the lock off" (which is it's own issue)?
Third, why does the guy look fairly put together despite having supposedly been in jail for ages?
Fourth, and most importantly, a guy who has been in pitch blackness without food for 4-5 days is going to be shaky on his feet at best. Without water for 4-5 days like they claimed? You're going to be lucky to be alive.
This thing was full of red flags for anyone who spent even a few seconds looking at it. Now, granted, I assumed CNN staged the thing (which Ward has a history of doing) rather than an intel officer faking it to try to escape capture but either way it's a fake.
So I'm in the bathroom bored, doing business, and type into Google, "I'm pooping amuse me."
I would go consult a doctor because if your poops are so long that you need amusement during them you have a serious condition.
The western artists have shown themselves how generic the slop they make that they can't even tell what a woman is so AI is already surpassing them.
That's a big part of it I think. And the Hollywood writer's strike tied into it. If someone is doing good work then even if the AI stuff is cheaper there's arguments to be made for keeping the person. But, a lot of the writers and artists these days just keep pitching misses (and wide misses at that) over and over. If you're already failing over and over then there's no excuse to not replace you with a machine that does the job faster, cheaper and better.
I don’t watch the nfl usually for obvious reasons but their stupidity usually trickles down to the NCAA.
While I fully agree with you that there are plenty of reasons to avoid the NFL, I can't think of any of those reasons that don't apply just as much to NCAA games. In fact, in many ways, the NCAA is much worse than the NFL.
At least the NFL doesn't (I think, anyway) insist that states need to fund a certain number of professional women's sports if they want their NFL team to be eligible for the playoffs. To get into the Bowl subdivision in NCAA football, though, a school needs to fund 16 varsity sports teams, at least 8 of which must be all-female and 6 of which must be male or coed.
While the NFL does have cringe inclusive hiring practices, so does the NCAA. And the NCAA also has a bunch more woke garbage including a "Guidance on Inclusive Language" document they published the first version of back in 2010.
And the NCAA considers it a "core guarantee" that all schools in it provide their student athletes with, among other things Mental health, Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging and Sexual violence prevention education and training.
And more.
Pretty much this. It is pretty much indisputable that social media is heavily detrimental to child development. But, this type of thing will also result in greatly increased govt monitoring of people online, and corresponding decreases in anonymity.
I'll be the heretic. I actually enjoyed 3. Never played it (or any RTS, really) in a PvP multiplayer format, and can see potential issues there depending on home city levels, but the way artillery in 3 is very satisfying.
They were announcing no DLC plans back in September. Now, maybe they were already assuming it would be awful in terms of sales (which if they were looking objectively they should have been able to) but regardless of reason for an EA-owned property to announce no DLC plans a month before release is just crazy.
Another thing with this is EA said that they had no plans for DLC. A good DLC drop can boost player interest and numbers, and is usually a chance to get some comparatively easy money. But it sounds like they won't even get that.
And, as we saw with the election, many people utterly reject those token conservatives almost as much as the democrats. Still have no idea why Team Kamala thought that Dick and Liz Cheney would be a good endorsement to tout.
I'm upset, but for opposite reasons for Reddit.
There was some talk a few days before the election that Ron Paul might get involved with DOGE. I want to see that happen, both to be able to spam "It's Happening" memes everywhere and so the poor guy could directly participate in one thing he wanted for decades starting to come to pass. Hopefully he still gets to participate a bit.
There is simply too much history and love between us to let this election tear us apart.
Yeah, about that. Pretty sure it is torn apart. In the span of less than a week, you told him you don't want anything to do with his family, you've berated him multiple times over a facebook post (initially with a text message), and now you've written and published a full-length essay about how good and noble and strong you are and how inconsiderate and heartless he and half the country are.
just because one exceedingly suspect asshole convinced the government to do it without actually running tests on the long term effects.
If we go by that logic, 99% of government actions should be stopped. Not that I'm opposed to that, of course, but just pointing it out.
No idea how many times he managed to get banned here, but he had plenty of time to get it out of his system if it was coming out.
