Despite that, she clearly has a legitimate claim to refugee status. Rejecting and condemning Islam is reason to fear for one's life, and it's hard to dispute that they want to kill her when they leave their death threats pinned to a co-worker's corpse.

Christianity doesn't inherently equip you for a civilisational war either. If you want that, you'd have to convert to Sikhism - a religion that made it your religious duty to be armed at all times because Muslims kept being murderous bastards.

the establishment

The establishment is conducting lawfare against Musk for not letting the "refugees" have access to ICBM technology.

Probably, but that's not what these games are. They are an adaptation to the Chinese market; a way to extract money from a people where piracy and IP theft is standard procedure by letting them pay to cheat against each other.

I wonder if they have these problems in China.

The home of pay-to-win gacha games? I'd be surprised if they didn't.

You didn't even read the first three pieces of text on the page. The list is incomplete - these are only the officially confirmed victims whose names have been cleared for publication - as should be obvious from the fact that 1,149 is a smaller number than 1,300.

Mitochondrial disease means every single cell is incapable of operating at capacity. Even if we could rewrite the DNA throughout her body to cure her of that disease, it's already done irreparable secondary damage.

It sucks, but just because modern life support can stave off the point at which someone becomes a rotting corpse does not mean that they can be saved.

Prior to this announcement, we were hearing rumours of the exact opposite - that the union leadership was more zealous about their demands than (some of) the actors. That's especially credible when the newest demand was that the union wanted the studios to pay the union a fee (for being a parasitic thorn in their side, presumably) and bypassing the actors entirely.

There are only two types of people in the BDS movement: communists and Islamists. Why are you complaining about them being starved of government funds?

Wait, how come I can't have the "no genitalia" option outside of Japan, too?

According to the quote, you can - you just have the option to turn the censorship off, while the Japanese version doesn't.

Since my stance is that these people should be banned from stepping foot on the same continent as Germany, why would I care that they're being banned from protesting in support of murderous Islamic nationalists in Germany?

I would. Garden-variety promiscuity isn't the driver of STD transmission, it's drug addicts, African-Americans and gay men.

There are safe UV tubes (near-violet UVA) and germicidal UV tubes (more energetic UVC). China being China, someone used the latter for decoration when they should only use the former.

You're conflating two different groups. The Kenyans getting water infrastructure aren't the same communist grifters angry that they've lost an excuse to radicalise the populace or opportunity to get rich accepting charity on the Kenyans' behalf.

You are insinuating that anti-Gazan propaganda is as false as anti-male, anti-Republican and anti-capitalist propaganda is. Telling us to ignore attacks by Muslims that they justify by explicit reference to Mohammad's decrees is you defending Islam.

The boy who cried wolf doesn't disprove the existence of wolves. All you traitors who have come out of the woodwork to defend Islam's good name can do us all a favour and fuck off.

Not "they", "he". There is no reason to make generalisations spanning millions of people and hundreds of years when I can point to Shai Davidai's journal article attributing lack of economic mobility among black Americans to systemic racism and say it's reinforcing the same worldview that looks at the Gazans' generations of failure and attributes that to racism by Israelis.

They aren't America.

I'm going to defend Blender on this one. The downside of garbage collection deleting an animation or material you wanted to save for use elsewhere is far higher than the upside of promptly deleting that animation or material once you're not using it. I'd rather do an optimisation pass at the end to delete those orphan animations than have to remake the animation because I accidentally got it deleted six hours ago.

I won't go that far, but it should be bullets-in-skulls illegal for the government to do what they did to Cosby. You can't threaten someone with perjury if they refuse to provide self-incriminating testimony, and then use that self-incriminating testimony in court to prosecute them.

Riots are the voice of the unheard because nobody gives a shit what your cause is if you're acting like a rabid dog that needs to be put down.

A child's ignorance would be a reasonable defense if, once he was older and wiser, he stopped supporting evil.

He hasn't.

No, it was near the tower - the Champ de Mars park surrounds the Eiffel Tower.

That's terrible advice - weaves cause receding hair lines. What she should be doing is quitting wearing her hair pulled back into a tight ponytail, which is both exaggerating the recession of her hair line and causing further hair loss due to traction alopecia.
