Reminds me of a story I heard recently, no proof or anything just scuttlebutt. A guy gave 50 bucks to his tween stepson for his birthday, and could see the card transactions he made. Within a week he had spent it all on twitch and YouTube donations, not a cent on real goods or anything for himself.

A lot of kids today are fucked.

I would have spent it on a nintendo game at that age. Kids are retarded unless they are deliberately trained not to be. I wonder if they have these problems in China.

The home of pay-to-win gacha games? I'd be surprised if they didn't.

Theoretically, could they block their own people from playing those?

Probably, but that's not what these games are. They are an adaptation to the Chinese market; a way to extract money from a people where piracy and IP theft is standard procedure by letting them pay to cheat against each other.

Yes. The Chinese subreddit that briefly moved here before finding some new forum software was all about pointing out how stupid typical Chinese video personalities and their consoomers are.

At least their government has the motivation and the tools to deal with that kind of thing. Rather than the worship of retards becoming a new religion like in the west.

Zoomers are raised by internet personalities via forming para social relationships with them rather than their own family. This is what happened when parents give their kids an iPad when they're like 5, and the kid grows up being an internet addicted zombie. Gen A is even more fucked than gen Z, since those are the kids who spent their whole life so far since literal infancy scrolling on an iPad. I can't even imagine how bad the world will be when Gen A kids become young adults. Modern parents, especially with their already distinct lack of parenting, were not prepared with how to handle technology regarding their kids.

They will be slaves. The only question is which sect of global elites will become their masters.

Lawl. My job also requires me to be on computers. I watch very little internet personalies. Maybe gamers nexus if im looking for latest tech. But i just watch random shit like vietnam war documentaries, 1990s hong kong movies, family of sea otters killing alligators. Mostly random stuff. I rarely watch video game videos.. maybe some trolling griefing videos. But those died out since youtube tend to demonetize those for profanity.

Ive seen parents plop their kids in front of an ipad at age 2.. seems us adults have to "watch our mouths" and baby sit other people's lame ass kids online.

I can't believe kids buy burn cash on that stuff. Thankfully I never got into anything like that it would probably destroy young me lol.

Logan Paul's PRIME Energy Drink Sales May Exceed $1.2 Billion

So that's like what? A dozen bottles?

Seriously that shit is so ridiculously expensive it's not even funny. Complain about boomers all you want GenZ but YOU are the real retards here. You literally piss money down the drain on shit like this and then complain that you can't save money for important stuff.

It even sucks ass as a hydrating sports drink. They traded effectiveness for taste.

I tried prime once. It is, somehow, gritty. Like when you make a drink out of powder and it doesn't quite dissolve all the way.

It is vastly inferior to even Powerade and I cannot wrap my head around why people buy that shit.

I tried prime yesterday lol. It tasted okay but it was a dumbfuck move of me to spend $4.00 on a stupid drink.

I still think that Millennials are the real retards; but GenZ are just young and stupid.

Who's most retarded may just be an academic point, everything I've seen so far points to both generations being too retarded for anyone's good.

Fair enough, I'd say the whole thing's Academic.

The Silent Generation is only the beginning of the retardation because they elected FDR to be a Liberal, and then kept voting for him, despite the fact that they walked themselves into a Democratic Socialist country.

Agreed, but that is also technically the Silent Generation.

Leftism since the Paris Commune became a growing threat, and Leftism has been a pre-eminent threat since the Progressive Era.

I also contend that America has been Liberalizing away from Progressivism since FDR. It's been slow, but it is noticeable.

Talentless hacks such as 'KSI', 'MrBeast' and 'Logan Paul' are really raking in the bucks. No one said that life was fair.

Pretty much sums up Youtube: low effort, clickbait and automated content gets millions of views. Well-made content barely gets any.

Is it any different than buying other celebrity endorsed products? It's not as bad as buying those pussy smelling candles at least..

It was good for early adult life where you have practically nothing, and you're itinerant. Like when all your possessions need to fit in a Honda Civic, those little grilles are convenient.

I don't know where mine is now, and I can't think of a reason I wouldn't just slap my grill's built-in, um, grille plate and cook with propane. But a lot of apartments don't allow you to grill on your balcony, though this is widely flaunted.

They're known for doing something that requires talent? Kick a ball around. Dribble a ball. Pretend for a living. Can you really say the same about these social media personalities? They require us to pretend that they're interesting.

I watch WAE and he has been involved. I remember when he first came on I was wondering who he was. Then again I’m in my 40s so I’ve long been out of the loop with celebrities

This explains why my foster kids want prime. I'd complain, but I saw call of duty commercials for monster.
