Zoomers are raised by internet personalities via forming para social relationships with them rather than their own family. This is what happened when parents give their kids an iPad when they're like 5, and the kid grows up being an internet addicted zombie. Gen A is even more fucked than gen Z, since those are the kids who spent their whole life so far since literal infancy scrolling on an iPad. I can't even imagine how bad the world will be when Gen A kids become young adults. Modern parents, especially with their already distinct lack of parenting, were not prepared with how to handle technology regarding their kids.
I even know how this fucking happens and it's because parents give them the tablets to stop them from sperging out and have some peace and quiet. They don't supervise them or anything, if they were at least encouraging them to do something creative or watch something interesting that would be a better spend of time on it.
However even by my standards it's like you're pointing out, they're just watching internet personalities online constantly or other crap. It's the sort of brain rot that's the equivalent of watching reality tv shows all day.
I freely admit, I'm somebody who's constantly at the computer partly for my work because I code all the time. However compare what I do where I'm watching all kinds of food related videos about cooking, food history and shit like that which I find really interesting at least that's something somewhat productive because I learn all sorts online these days and it's really useful. It's very much a double edged sword with tech and I don't think the kids have any idea how amazing the information you can find online really is if you start digging. When I want to chill I often watch the food related stuff or I'll watch anime because I regard the internet personality stuff as cancer too.
Lawl. My job also requires me to be on computers. I watch very little internet personalies. Maybe gamers nexus if im looking for latest tech. But i just watch random shit like vietnam war documentaries, 1990s hong kong movies, family of sea otters killing alligators. Mostly random stuff. I rarely watch video game videos.. maybe some trolling griefing videos. But those died out since youtube tend to demonetize those for profanity.
Ive seen parents plop their kids in front of an ipad at age 2.. seems us adults have to "watch our mouths" and baby sit other people's lame ass kids online.

They will be slaves. The only question is which sect of global elites will become their masters.
