That's a huge reason why the right isn't really getting anywhere. People complain that nobody does anything. And when somebody does something they call him a glowie or fag.

A huge difference between conservatives and liberals in my anecdotal experience is typically conservatives are on a more steady life path to find their own success, desire to start a family, etc... and therefore a lot more to lose by throwing that out the window and doing something radical. Whereas typically liberals are loony losers with little to no future prospects in life so the hurdle to throw their life away doing something heinous like this or any of the other examples is practically already done for them.
The biggest criticism many of us have always had of Kirk was that he always came across as if he were trying to win over the old establishment. He seemed like one of those "Young Republican" types who was trying to build himself up as the next generation of the GOP by just adding a bit of youthful polish to the old Boomer political machine. In essence, that he was the "safe" pair of hands on the young side of the right, who could be trusted to continue the project without meaningfully shaking anything up. The one who promised to return us all to the reassuring stability of the old paradigm.
And now, ironically enough, a Boomer has just demonstrated yet again why that will never be possible.
I never had much patience for Kirk, but he deserved to live a long and happy life. His wife deserves a husband and, most importantly, his kids deserve their father. Instead, they have to face a future without him and all of us now face a future where the genie he was trying to put back in the bottle just became much more real and dangerous.

We can say for certain it wasn't an amateur who shot him.
Professionals shoot for center mass and fire more than once. Hollywood style headshots are the purview of amateurs.

Targeting center mass doesn't ensure your target dies. Not even with multiple shots. Piercing your targets neck artery does. Kirk had no chance of surviving that shot. He was as good as dead before he even hit the ground.

Once I saw the video, I knew that was it. That was a garden hose of blood, and he flatlined within seconds.
