A mistake would imply it is unintentional. My vote is for us to intentionally sink every boat entering our waters illegally. They can go through the proper channels to enter our country or they can fuck right off.
And I'm getting pretty fucking tired of ourguys cucking out and taking us out at the knees before we have even gotten started like this. I guess it makes my decision to no longer vote Republican easier, knowing that they will just bitch out and fail even when they win. They're just a party of traitors and losers.
Libertarians are completely ideologically defenseless against organized hostile collectivists. That is why they constantly get bodyslammed by the main two parties in every election even if they have a much better candidate (like Ron Paul).
Their policies, even though I like most of them, can only really exist in a society comprised of 130+ IQ Whites. Any kind of multi racial or multi ethnic society is a death sentence for libertarian ideals because the different ethnic groups will just collectivize for their own advantage. You already see this with Indians in western countries once their population gets large enough.
Some lolberts like Clint Russel are starting to become more racially aware and are starting to break out of their lolbert programming, but you also have lolberts like Dave Smith who think Vivek is going to let Dave's kids have a job.
Libertarianism is a utopianist ideology on par with communism. “If everyone just does X, then we’ll be all good.” Everyone is not going to do X. They never have, and they never will.
Libertarians can't even agree on what being a libertarian is. That's how individualist they are. It's just constant infighting to the point where they have different caucuses in their own party vying for control.
That and "free" trade where we have to tie both hands behind our backs while everybody else doesnt play by the same rules and fucks us over undercutting our markets and stealing all our industry. Because fighting tariffs with tariffs is bad somehow.
The position is fascinating when you think about it. they want the borders to be open so that anyone can come in and out without vetting, but they want to get rid of the welfare systems the cost so much and cause people to become dependent on the government.
their rationale is that getting rid of an incentive for leeches to come would halt the hordes, making everything balance out, but they ignore the human trafficking and crime aspect of open borders.
Why even bother with Mexico? At their closest point, Venezuela and the US are still over 1000 miles apart. If someone is a legitimate refugee, Aruba is 18 miles from the coast of Venezuela, and Trinidad is less than 7. Or, go by land to Brazil, Guyana or Columbia.
Funny you bring up Trinidad. Their prime minister was in the news just the other day essentially saying "Thank you that, America. We are getting sick and tired of being a waypoint for drug smugglers running up to you guys."
"Really good people" don't commit major crimes in the dead of night on a speedboat. Its kind of a preclusion.
These kind of pity parties live by ignoring the giant elephant in the room of they were willing to illegally immigrate in the first place as a judgement factor. And that's the best case scenario of some magically perfect individual coming here with purely noble intentions of betterment, which is rare in itself.
I don't agree with him, but to be fair this boat was apparently heading to Trinidad, not the United States. Killing cartel smugglers is still a good thing, but America isn't a direct beneficiary in this case.
Exactly this. Not a lot of customers in Trinidad & I bet the supply is abundant, making the product cheaper. The end market they desire is USA where there's money and addicts galore.
And what if they were carriers of a zombie virus that 100% would destroy all of humanity and puppies and kittens? You know, since we're making up examples wholesale that aren't true.
I think I'm going to use a response I read here for if you see a headline written by a journalist that poses a question instead of summarizes the story from a few years back.
If your headline asks a question, then you know the answer is no.
Sounds good doesnt work. Courts are busy with enough other crime and then you also have to house them, pay their lawyers etc. and the US debt is high enough. So much for a working democracy.
Good people... on a boat filled with drugs... not bloody likely!
The actual good people fled Venezuela in the 80's. Society there was collapsing just like things are now in US Blue cities! Except everywhere all at once.
My cousin married a nice man from Caraccas. His whole family (like 12-15 of them!) came to Canada legally, he was already a citizen when they met. Super nice folks! Had a good business back there but the government was making it impossible to run.
His parents went back for a visit in the early 90's. Their upper-class neighborhood was in ruins, their former shoe factory was in disorder, making garbage. Every friend still remaining was getting out ASAP, most went to America, legally, and that's the sort of people that should be welcomed!
Still don't want them here. Fix your own country!

Rand Paul is a libertarian and the libertarians are essentially pro-open border. it's the biggest downside of their position.
Lolberts have no answer for bad faith. They never have.

Rand Paul said “build a wall around our welfare system” (and they will stop themselves from coming)

Then they can flee to Mexico. Why is it our responsibility to take in everyone?

They would've come and announced themselves at an official point of entry.
How many days did it take him to come up with that question?
What if Maduro says he's vewy vewy sowy?
moot question because they weren't.
Good people come here the right way. The people who don't are criminals, invaders and terrorists.
I don't agree with him, but to be fair this boat was apparently heading to Trinidad, not the United States. Killing cartel smugglers is still a good thing, but America isn't a direct beneficiary in this case.
Where do you think the drugs go after they get to Trinidad?

I’d shoot them too, if they weren’t white.

If they were really good people, their corrupt third world shit holes wouldn’t have let them leave.
