So they reduced bail because the family said it couldn't afford bail. The bail gets reduced and then the family moves to a home almost the cost of the original bail cost??

If they bought a home outright I could at least acknowledge their opportunism, as they'd have exploited the generosity of strangers to accumulate wealth. But they're only renting it, meaning it's all going to waste.

You haven't lived near blacks, so let me educate you a bit on their spending habits. They don't think about the future, only the perpetual now. They will always buy, or rent, stuff that they can't afford. You could be driving down the most ghetto black neighborhood, and you'll still see hundred thousand dollar plus SUVs, without fail. There are very few exceptions to this. Most of them are welfare recipients, too, and think money falls from the sky like mana, that they're owed that money. Ever seen videos of people who use food stamps being confronted by what they're buying? It's always soda, candy, junk food, or steaks and lobster, and whenever these thieves are confronted, they get incredibly hostile, and never apologize.

Worked a high school summer job at Staples and had a black coworker. He was pretty chill. A few friends and I went over to his house to watch the Tyson vs Lennox Lewis fight.

His shit hole apartment was decked out with tons of shit from one of those stores where you pay $44/week for a huge TV that ends up costing you $5,000 when it's all said and done. He also had two kids with two different women at the age of 20, but that goes without saying.

And maybe I'm wrong to use this comparison but considering they got Trump for lying about the cost of his house being different from it's appraisal. I wonder how you can tell a judge the most we can afford is 200k for bail, get that approved, and then spend a significant amount of money to relocate?

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– Atlo 4 points 1 year ago +4 / -0

Just a quick reminder about the Trump house value appraisal: (Numbers to illustrate point; not actual) Estimate value 400K$; Estimate value of house next door (Essentially not even half the size): 4M$.

The appraisal was done by a literally demon-disgusting looking like jew.

I don't either. I always thought murder was basically a no bond kind of deal. But I guess with the age, race, and news coverage they made an exception

The slippery slope is not a fallacy, it's real.

▲ 32 ▼
– Mpetey123 32 points 1 year ago +32 / -0

I think it's a different grift than the Luigi thing. This is more of a racial thing, the Luigi is a class thing, even though Luigi was rich himself.

▲ 23 ▼
– MattTheBlack 23 points 1 year ago +23 / -0

It's not any different in the end goal and I'll keep warning yall until I'm blue in the face. They're literally normalizing murdering certain demographics. First it's rich white men, then it's white men, then it'll just be men then so on

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 13 ▼
– AntonioOfVenice 13 points 1 year ago +13 / -0

Oh, it's definitely different. But I think it's a logical continuation of the Luigi thing. We've been here before. A few years ago, they started out saying that "being violent to Nazis is good". Before long, they had moved on to Trump supporters.

Once you start advocating for cold-blooded murder, it's not going to stay limited to allegedly Very Bad people like insurance CEOs.

I wish I could find a demarcation line for when violence and murder stopped being thought of wrong abd reported as such, and became an exercise in justification based on friend/enemy.

Luigi's support came independently of his class. So while it might be important to him, it means nothing to the "movement" around him.

Whereas the support of this nigger is based entirely on his race, and nothing else.

They got a huge settlement from Minneapolis. I don't know how much they pocketed off donations. Supposedly they also sued Kanye West for $250 million, but I can't find any updates on that.

I don't know how much their attorneys pocketed that.

I also know that Mike Brown's family was also saying the same shit.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– LibertyPrimeWasRight 3 points 1 year ago +3 / -0

I would imagine that in both cases, some of it was pocketed by middlemen of one kind or another, but that they still received a sizable chunk of money, pissed it away, then complained that they didn’t get enough.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– Gizortnik 1 point 1 year ago +1 / -0

No, I know for sure Michael Brown's family basically didn't receive any of the donations that they were actually promised. It created some kind of legal action, and was one of the reasons that some of the Democratic AG's started going after BLM chapters. Had they embezzled money normally, they would have gotten away with it. Instead, they embezzled it by spending money like a 16 year old girl with her daddy's credit card.

▲ 1 ▼
– LibertyPrimeWasRight 1 point 1 year ago +1 / -0

Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I meant “some part of everything,” so even though the donations got stolen and there were lawyer fees on their lawsuit, I’m assuming they still got—and blew—at least a couple hundred thousand overall.

Most likely been advised to live on debt since they're going to get a civil suit by the victim's parents.

Who good is your "windfall" when you'll have to pay damages to the parents of the son your feral animal of a child had slain?

Pfft. Doubtful. Metcalf's dad doesn't really seem to care. "Oh, well. Shit happens, right?"

If they sue for anything, it'll probably be for a written apology.

oof, just read his response to all this, yeah seems like a very milquetoast response to the murder of your son.

"I want to clarify something right off to start because I've already heard some rumors and gossip. This was not a race thing. This is not a political thing," Jeff Metcalf told "America Reports" co-anchor John Roberts. "Do not politicize this. It's not ... this is a human being thing. This person made a bad choice and affected both his family and my family forever. "People ask me, how can you forgive this other person? I said I forgive the other person because the forgiveness is not for him. The forgiveness is for me so I can have peace," he said. "His life is destroyed. My life is destroyed."

I hope Karmelo drive his new ride from his mansion when he goes to a house party on Friday night in his old haunts and cruises past the Metcalf residence and wave hello to Mr. Metcalf like they're good pals.
