Imagine hiring a complete freak to run a $100-200+ million project, watching him enforce his twisted outlier worldview on everyone and everything, and then pretending it’s all good as you watch the game trailer sink and burn online. Who exactly is in charge at these places anymore?
It'll do better than Concord on the basis of "they could not possibly have spent 400 million dollars and 8 years on it", but it will definitely flop.
It'll also do better by riding the Dragon Age name and from people who are done with Baldur's Gate 3 and want more of (what they think will be) the same.
Suggest that these people try the original Baldur's Gate games or Dragon Age: Origins instead, and they'll say "Ew, no way, those games are too old!"
This game is BG3 in a way, no-boobs, degeneracy to the extreme, diversity that makes no sense and a story that is on par with Disney Star-Wars.

BG3 had it's woke injections but I'd argue did it the old school subversive way. They snuck in shit but it wasn't the overriding story. The beatiality scene, for example, can be avoided.
However, you can still make gorgeous normal looking fantasy characters, which always allows even woke stuff to slip through and be relatively successful.

You had a lot of wokenes, the women were not good looking, there was just one decent looking with no boobs and every party member was a degenerate except for the good looking one. Diversity to make London jealous and in most situations the leader of various groups was a woman. It also beat you over the head with the poor-immigrants and every guy in the part had the hots for me. I also hated how the game pushed that black dude companion on me.
BG3 was very much woke but it didn't make straight white men to be evil or that a woman is great for being a woman and it even had straight relations.
Nobody wants hero shooters but some people will entertain single player RPGs, so Dragon Age will sell better than Concord, not by much though
I think if they had actual badass male characters, hot female characters, and destructible environments with an engaging art-style and unique and fun locations, a hero shooter could work in today's environment. The problem is, no one is making that kind of game.
You also look at absolutely pure-mediocre cash-shop slop like The First Descendant, which does nothing memorable with its asset-flip tier gameplay, but is making Nexon millions of dollars hand-over-fist because all the female characters are interesting and have smoking hot skins, plus the art direction is solid (and the launch trailer here was brilliantly put together: https://youtu.be/UdmgmufAd9Q )

Yeah you're right, it is definitely more like a Warframe/Destiny clone. But I guess my broader point was that even mediocre games can maintain some measure of popularity if they have the right appeal. I'm pretty sure if Concord had the same characters from The First Descendant with the same skin options, it likely would have done okay.
All things equal, single player games will always do better than multiplayer games until you reach that event horizon where enough people are playing the game to get other people to play it too.
Plus you can see the instant rot and unfun-ness of a multiplayer game in 2 matches, plenty of time to refund it. Single player games are never that kind, unless the character creator hurts you that much.
Considering how woke pathfinder wrath of the righteous was and is considered a success, I can see this having the same target audience.

BG3 appears to be the rare legitimately good game that is also woke. IRL people are raving about the level of complexity in decisionmaking. Personally I don't think I'll ever play the game because I don't care for gay vampires and women with horns, but it seems to be a unicorn.

They almost certainly are using pre-existing frameworks, made by competent devs, and then just re-sizing certain parts to match their own manjaw and lack of tits.

I'm not so sure this is going to flop with the astro-turfing being done for it so far. I don't think normies can see through this type of stuff often, and my buddy who is very conservative, had no idea about any of these features and had only seen fluff on it so far but it was eye opening for him.
