the reason that resetera exists its because of a schism at neogaf
neogaf was iirc basically left empty for a few years because everyone had jumped ship to REEEEEEsetera but then the REEEEEing got too much and the bans got handed around like candy meaning everyone not 100% in line with the modern audience got banned and went back to neogaf
Not going to say based, but they aren't troon suckers, those sorts truly did split off hard in the formation of Resetera.
Troons are a boon in their own way. They're modern leftism incarnate - aggressive, coercive lying, inherently violent and invasive. Everyone has a breaking point where they're forced to admit to themselves a man in a dress is not a woman.
I was shocked to discover a few weeks ago that neogaf is borderline tolerable now. There are dissident takes in almost every thread. The biggest problem with the place is Sony fanboyism, but there are still people who shit on them, too.
It's pretty much fine now. Evilore seems to be doing the 'no politics' thing with an iron fist but will allow based takes in most threads without a problem. Pretty much all of the cancers ended up at REEEE, and most posters that have fucktarded takes get shit on pretty heavily.

I think there was a schism on Neogaf in the last few years where the leftists split off similar to the way leftists abandoned Twitter after Elon bought it and they lost janny protection.
Leftists all abandoned it over some drama or other and started RetardEra, which became more cultish and ban-happy than old Neogaf ever managed.
Neogaf was fairly dead after that, but what was left was fairly based and much less censorious.
It’s not a leftist hellhole, but the Sony fanboyism is really insane on Neogaf.
