Looks like Streisand effect is in play now, Asmongold is talking about it and the instigators from Sweet Baby have private their Twitter accounts.
I just hope that there's enough attention of their activity that they stop working on games but the studios they are working with are in such dire financial straits that I don't think they'll be a player for that much longer anyway.
I doubt they'll be woke as look at what sells hardest in Palword, Helldivers 2 and the upcoming Kingmakers:
Colonisation, there's a burning urge in the gaming community to teach the inferiors their place lol
Weird how I first found Asmongold because of Holocure, and it turned out he's largely on our side.
Who knew?
He is a literal follower who does whatever his streamer friends say, and will flipflop per day if their opinion's change.
Just last week he also said an average person makes 1000$ perday and streaming is harder than most jobs out there because you get "socially drained". Because Hasan said so and he had to support his friend who was getting criticized.
Agriculture was a mistake.
What's retarded is that if properly explained, you could make that argument. Because the level of "socially on" you need to be while streaming can be mentally exhausting to a point where you just curl in a shell afterwards because you want to relax in the silence. You won't win in a "whose worst" category, but that's the trap you don't fall in to begin with because "comparative suffering" is always a losing fight.
But of course, who would expect someone whose entire job and career involves talking and being on camera to be able to articulate themselves and speak properly. Its especially hard for Asmon, given that he might lose another tooth mid sentence live if he does.
To the credit of Asmongold's editor, he regularly roasts Asmon (pretty much daily), which is quite funny as Asmon's own community sides with his editor more than with Asmon (on certain topics).
I had no idea who Asmongold was but YouTube started recommending me his videos because he dabbled in some sociopolitical and manosphere topics I regularly watch, so I gave his content a watch and found him to mostly be a lukewarm normie who "notices" some things but largely ignores the rest.
Most of his community seems to be very red-pilled when reading the comments, though.
Asmon is the kind of guy who the more you know about him, the worse he gets.
Homie sleeps next to a bloodstained wall because he wipes his bloody gums on them in his sleep and straight up neglected his mom into her death while they both lived in a roach infested cesspit (despite him having well over 6 figures if not millions).
He occasionally says some alright stuff, but is absolutely the kind of guy that makes your side look worse if he is on it by sheer disgust of his existence.
Well, you know you're over target when you get that kind of flack.
Edit: Wow. Just wow. I checked the curator. And it's not oh my god look how horrible this company is. It just says if they were involved. That's it. That's all it does. It's neither negative nor positive, just that SBI worked on it.
And this is what they do. Definitely over target.
no need to open the bomb bay old chap, seems they've blown themselves up, back to blighty for a cup of tea
Negative, bombardier, higher wants this target to glow in the dark. Get ready to drop... crew, get your tinted goggles on...
Roger, bombs gone, planes yours skipper
To be completely fair, they are listed as “not recommended,” and it is possible for a curator to give a neutral “informational” curation.
Personally I think it’s the right move. If a normie sees an “informational” curation that they’re involved they probably won’t care. Not recommended will make them ask “why?”
Um it's definitely negative, it marks each game as "not recommended."
I should have been more specific.
All of the recommendations say they are not recommended, but the text description is the same for every game. Just that SBI did work on it.
Which is where the not recommended comes from, because the curator is a watchdog style curator where they tell people if SBI worked on the game.
Name the demon and you will have power over them. It's the same thing that happened with LibsofTiktok. Simply reposting their own material, identifying them to the public at large, was treated as though it was a direct threat against their lives.
Why, pray tell, does race come into this, shill? Please do explain this one without giving away certain things that some normies will not have noticed yet, I urge you to put that much more of your foot in your mouth you start tasting your shin.
If you have to ask, YOU RAYCISS. If you disagree, YOU RAYCISS. If you don't give into all my demands, YOU RAYCISS.
Eventually, maybe even very soon, POWER WORD: RAYCISS will have lost much of its power.
It really already has. If someone yelled I’m a racist in public I wouldn’t care the slightest.
Would probably get attacked by chimps, but otherwise I don’t care
one can hope.
Well, yes, but that's unrelated, I hate SBI because it's all women
Is it though? 🤔
women and men on their way to become women
Sweet Baby needs to be aborted.
Trust a woman to come up with a hot take like this.
Sure, it looks cute and cuddly now, but it'll just grow up to be a fucking dressie, so you might as well just put it in a burlap sack and drown the shit out of it now.
I support this.
is it being reported to valve? most likely not.
You missed the point. Just mute or ignore the faggots. It only infuriates them more.
Good idea, one more filter for idiots other than tho pronouns
I bet some (if not most) of those threads are created by trolls who are farming 'Jester' awards for points.
Meanwhile the real shills are concern-trolling in innocent looking threads, asking the curator to stop focusing solely on Sweet Baby, dropping their name from the curator name and start focusing on all 'consultation' studios.
No one farms anything for points they are a dime to a hundred. Buying a single game gives you thousands. No one is ever in need or farms points when every steam user has them in the hundreds of thousands by this point. These likely are genuine left wing cultists, being retarded like they are obligated to be by their cult DIEvershitty overloards.
I have like a hundred thousand points just from buying stuff over the years and I have no idea what to do with them. If I could, I'd give them away.
Browse threads of people saying based things and reward their comment.
It's not much, but I do that without getting into the drudgery of commenting or arguing with people.
If someone makes a compelling argument about keeping globohomo out of gaming, I do my part in rewarding them to indicate to other normies to also reward them for standing against the herd. It's a small indicator to reward people for speaking out. It's the only use I have for the points, other than just downloading random startup screens for the Steam Deck.
Yeah most likely.
Sharing a fitting story from Germany: there's a twitter account called "ÖRR blog" (öffentlich rechtlicher rundfunk - free public radio our "independent" media that we have to pay totally not taxes for).
It basically focused on interviews of those media and their "totally random" interview partners. They basically google the name that is showed and say "Hey, this totally random person is a politician for party X". Or "She works for a company that works for party Y". Most often the government / leftist parties are mentioned.
Then another twitter account showed up "örr-blog-blog" and said "Hey, there were farmer protests and you didn't mention that the same happened with CDU/CSU politicians". Answer "we didn't get submissions, but we can work together if you want that". Of course no answer.
Another comment: "Strange that we got targeted for the lack of reporting on a certain topic, and not the media who didn't do proper reporting in the first place."
The current shill tactic is "If you notice X, then you also need to make sure you notice Y and Z as well! Or you're evil!". But they will never offer help.
There is nothing that points are even useful for. I bought everything that I could ever possibly, maybe, someday, think about potentially using two years ago. The only thing left to spend these pointless points on are the silly "awards."
Ah, maybe it's so they can then use the points to astroturf other comments without having to spend a dime? Shill tactics is the only reason I can see anyone caring enough about points to try and farm them.
I think you can give multiple awards to a comment or thread, so a single account can do a lot of astroturfing if they are getting the points for free.
What is Steam's policy about corrupt company astroturfing on their website?
If they were a publisher, that would ruin them. However, these guys are just "consultants," the kind that don't even get named on anything other than some small spot in the full credits, so Steam can't really take any action against the games they "consult" on.
Thanks for the new curator!
Does anyone know who steam actually hired for moderating after the adl were running na zi smears on them?
No one noticed that their company logo is a baby with a pedo swirl in it?
Everyone noticed, it's revelation of the method
Why did they change the logo from the Green baby to that Red... thing?
Group and curator. Two different things.
