“Born this way” is the most hilarious argument that the LGBTQ keep pushing. Nevermind the largest study on gay people and attempting to tie them to genetic loci only yielded 8-25% of all gay people having that amalgamation of loci. Nevermind that identical twins having different preferences is brushed off as “ones just still in the closet”. Nevermind absolutely no discernible evidence in 50 plus years of study showing a traceable biological cause.
It also relies on the "its natural, its seen in nature" argument to be accepted as valid.
Despite nature being filled with awful elements we reject outright for being degenerate, immoral, or even evil.
It’s not “seen in nature” what you see is either forced rape or parental responsibility sharing. There’s no animal that repeatedly fucks an animal of the same sex only their entire lives.
I agree, but that argument wasn't pushed back hard enough in the 2000s when the big gay push happened and now its just accepted as fundamentally true.
Which means that by pushing ideas as "natural" or simply "seen in nature sometimes rarely kinda" they are inherently correct.

I was thinking about this exact topic earlier today. How did the "it's genetic" argument suddenly come to mean the behavior is good for society, and not negative or deviant? Why isn't it considered a defect then? We fix cleft lips, for example. The "homosexual preference" trait should be a condition that's studied so a cure can be found.
It doesn't help that people on both the left and right embrace the platitude of "God doesn't make mistakes!" and reject biological truths over mysticism, either the religious or psuedo-scientific variety.
Because it was a cheap win for people who didn't put in a lot of thought, aka the normies on the fence. That was it, the moment you thought about it even a little it fell apart. It was designed to get that foot in the door, wherein you are already nodding to an easy sell while the are already giving you a larger one.

That theme song is great. Starts on a bit of a low point, almost implying you are gonna get some dark and dreary intrigue and then jumps into a much more hopeful tune. A perfect primer for a show that no matter how bad it gets the protagonist is gonna find a way out and solve the problems before him.
I miss when everything felt a lot more hopeful, when we didn't know the future was a mix of body mutilation, rampant insanity, government corruption (well we didn't expect tranny corruption), racists screaming racism at others and so on.

Literally every part of that is a lie. Making trans kids "happy and healthy" sets them up for a life of miserable isolation and making trans kids "miserable and isolated" sets them up for a happy, healthy life, because doing so will make them cissexual. There is no light at the end of the transsexual tunnel, the only path to happiness if you're not a sociopath is getting out before it's too late.

I'm always asking people this. No I'm not for children being given life-altering hormone therapy, but if doctors thought that was an acceptable treatment for "gender dysphoria", why wouldn't they start with the ones designed for that body? Align the mind with the body, not the other way around.

But this lot don't care if they cannot make cis kids trans - in the end, it's to their benefit if large cohorts of cis children kill themselves at an early age after irreversible surgery, because they're fundamentally playing a zero-sum game, so they're under the impression that fewer cis kids means more resources for trans kids.
