Canada's future? With how fucked the housing market is in our biggest cities and with how ill-trained our doctors are (anyone with a shred of common sense/talent moves to the states once they get their degree), this is canada's present.
The government of Québec is pushing hard for the plebs to reduce electricity consumption. Shaming advertisements, price manipulation, "smart thermostats" ( = +1000% price hike if you turn the heat up when it's cold outside and demand is high ).
We litterally swim in cheap renewable energy ( hydro electricity ).
The WEF puppets want to sell it outside and to give it for basically free to corporations as a bribe ( and backdoor rewards for politicians ).
Meanwhile they want us to be cold "to save the planet".
This insane bullshit manufactured energy crisis is worldwide.

To me it appears the plan is to crush the middle and lower classes into extreme poverty then push a universal basic income using central bank digital currencies. The government will essentially bail everyone out. Because governments will have, mostly, everyone by the balls the people will be forced to accept CBDCs and all the totalitarianism that comes with it.
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.
It's a shame, Finland was a country I'd visited and liked. I mean yeah it's socialist but it's a small homogeneous society. They also took care of their own defense despite a long land border with Russia.
