I wish Officer Derek had win.

What's about his other cops, meanwhile?

I guess I’m naive. I was honestly thinking Chauvin wouldn’t get anything worse than manslaughter because to prove murder would be impossible. But that was foolish of me

I honestly don’t get how he doesn’t appeal.

I wouldn't be surprised if that option is being made as difficult and unappealing as possible for him. They would probably just lynch him if he got out anyways.

Zimmerman is still living under an assumed name with a team of guys that were hired to defend him by an anonymous benefactor, last I heard. If Chauvin got out, he'd either be dead or in hiding within a day, like the cop from the Michael Brown case.

He made some plea deal with the feds to not appeal in exchange for a limited sentence on the federal charges (which I think they agreed to a concurrent sentence the same length as the state sentence.)

Curtailing your legal rights under threat of further punishment.

Federal “hate crime” laws shouldn’t even be a thing. Except for a very narrow band of laws, criminal prosecutions should be left to the states.

Even manslaughter would be a miscarriage of justice. Floyd died of severe heart disease exacerbated by the stress of trying to fight his way out of an arrest and the abuse of multiple illegal drugs known to cause cardiopulmonary failure. Had he not committed any one of his multiple crimes - the counterfeiting, the drug abuse or resisting arrest - he would still be alive.

– Smith1980 12 points 3 years ago +12 / -0

Agreed. I was just assuming that was the worst. I don’t believe that the drugs had nothing to do with his death. The city was scared of further rioting. I remember someone getting mad at me because when they said Ashli Babbit brought her death on herself I said then you can say the same for Floyd

It won't help. We have a full trial on video, and there are several videos of the incident. If these fools aren't bots they are NPCs, which is basically the same thing.

Personally I'd completely revamp the defamation laws so you can win damages even as a public figure, even if the defendant was misinformed by someone else. It should literally be illegal to lie about someone in a way that would damage their character - regardless of motive. The free speech protections applied to it in the past were because it was too much of a burden on average townsfolk to not gossip and tell their friends and family what they read in the newspaper, so they shouldn't be held responsible because someone gave them bad info. Today with the Internet at your fingertips, that's NOT ok. Just keep your mouth shut about people if you don't know for sure.

It still wouldn't help repair Kyle's image, but it would be satisfying watching as he knocks down bodies and becomes a billionaire thanks to twitter.

Don’t be a rioting thug. Then you won’t have to worry about people defending themselves and their property. That guy talking about reading banned books makes me wonder if he is truly interested in expanding his mind or just regurgitating the usual left wing talking points.

You think he is talking about ACTUAL banned books? Leftists never do. It's about some Buttfuck, Michigan middle school not allowing degen grooming books in the library.
Banned books to these people are like that tranny one with the drawings of the underage troon sucking off adults.

That is what boggles my mind. The same people who say a tv isnt worth a life will cry when some looter/rioter gets shot by the owner of they property they are destroying. It’s the same principle.

Rittenhouse got lucky, if you want to call being in jail for months, suffering the hell of a murder trial, and getting years of harassment and defamation from a mob of ignoramuses lucky. A different judge or jury, and he'd be doing life.

Many other innocent white people, especially cops, have been convicted in sham trials, and it's only likely to get worse. Old-school judges who believe in justice will die off, prosecutors will be pressured or replaced to deliver race-based results, and politicians will come up with new legislation to enshrine white genocide.

Getting Democrats out of office is the only hope of at least slowing this down.

That's going to stop working eventually. The Republicans are going to get worse as white demographic decline also gets worse.

– Gizortnik 34 points 3 years ago +34 / -0

It's way worse than that. He said that you should surrender to them and let them do whatever they think is necessary. You know, to reduce harm.

Because literally beating you to death, tying you to the back of a pick-up truck, and driving your corpse around a city in circles is less harm than shooting 2-3 of your murderers.

▲ 24 ▼
– APDSmith 24 points 3 years ago +24 / -0

Yup. The only thing Vaush sees as wrong with lynch mobs is the demographics they went after. Everything else, he's just fine with.

The fact that so many people believe demonstrably untrue things about him is evidence of just how much he was defamed.

Suing Biden, though? I mean, sure, but what about CNN and the like? What about the people who convinced half the country that he shot three unarmed black men? The people who refused to air the video of the event, even though the video was available online within a hours of it happening?

The truth of everything was plain to see in that video, but the media didn't touch it. Instead they just lied and lied and lied.

This should be Covington 2, Electric Boogaloo.

Kyle Rittenhouse murdered two unarmed men and permanently disabled a third and got away with it.

First of all, this is completely incorrect. Secondly, I like how she says two were unarmed, and conveniently doesn't mentioned the state of the third. Hint: He had a gun pointed at Kyle's head and later bragged about wishing he'd pulled the trigger.

Also, technically, Kyle permanently disabled all three!

As for the two "unarmed men," the first was a mentally unstable manlet pedophile who wouldn't stop chasing him, and attacked him. The second...had a fucking skateboard and was trying to cave Kyle's head in, as he lay on the ground. At most Kyle killed one unarmed person...who was actively attacking him.
