I find it odd how the idea of the father wanting to keep and raise the child never comes up. If you go by the sick idea that the child belongs to the parents and they can do whatever they want because of that, why pick the one that is just a bigger child? Also also, if mothers deserve this absolute power, why is it evil to bot let your child be groomed? Why do they want to take children away from what they claim to be abusive parents? I thought mothers have the authority to terminate their child's life when they want, why can't they abuse them? And if we should take kids from their abusive parents why can't we take children from the mothers who want to kill them? Of course we can't do that when they're in their womb but wouldn't the more sensible decision be to just wait until the child is born and then get them away? Why is everything so stupid? Why isn't everyone forced to marry the people they have a child with? So that the dad can be a dad and the mother can be a mother? Like God intended? Is this so fucking hard to get?
