That’s the main problem I have with trans anything. I don’t care what you do to yourself, and I don’t like it being elevated to a thing worth caring about. With homosexuality, the point was to be okay with people doing that if they wanted to. It wasn’t something other parties had to participate in. The left turned the trans movement into something you’re not supposed to accept or tolerate but participate in and praise. Being gay also doesn’t require you to rewrite your conception of reality. If a guy willfully sucks a dick I believe he wants to. If a man points at a dick and tells you it’s a vagina, that’s when things break down. It isn’t. And genitals are a 99.99999% proxy for what sex you are. You can be a girlie guy or a tomboy. That’s fine. Either way though, if someone wants to be trans, go for it, there’s not much else to talk about. If they still look like the other sex then I would hope they would understand people’s confusion as they would be too looking at other people.

Telling little kids they’re trans or puberty blockers are both child abuse though. I knew a family out here that has a 2-3 year old boy that they claim is a transgirl. Everyone freaks out if you use the wrong pronoun, except the 2-3 year old kid because they have no idea what’s going on or much idea about anything at all.

It hadn't ever occurred to me to connect the terms "trannie" and "jannie" until Merari connected the two. Although I was aware that a significant proportion of Reddit's powermods were trans, I had never associated them. Especially since I've only ever heard "jannie" in the context of forum moderators.
