That's a good, if sad, point. Incidentally, do you know where any of them ended up? I'd gladly support their new efforts as the husk of BioWare crumbles.
I don't want to see BioWare fail. I enjoyed Neverwinter Nights (the 2002 one), I enjoyed Mass Effect 1-3, I enjoyed DA:O, I enjoyed KOTOR. They make good games.
I do want to see social justice fail, and it seems that BioWare is hellbent on being collateral damage.
Nose candy, I thought.
the lead is a female Jedi
Butt-Head: Uhhhhhh...does she have big thingies?
ROTT over IPX/SPX for me.
Likely for anonymity's sake and not any troon shit. GrapheneOS is a privacy- and security-focused Android ROM that draws some angry attention from governments, so I would bet the dev team is keeping things ambiguous on purpose.
Would these fucks stop capitalizing "black"?
I lost whatever trust I had left in 2020 when pig-thugs were enforcing unconstitutional coof edicts.
I have zero sympathy for police anymore and as far as I'm concerned they can suffer through their jobs getting a hundred times harder and their funding a hundred times less.
Libertarian here and yeah, we're kinda notorious for that. We're policy wonks and principle hard-liners and I'm not so naive as to say it doesn't have its problems. Dave Smith criticizes it all the time, talking about libertarians who balk at tax cuts because "anything above 0% taxation is unacceptable." Technically right but not practical and politics is all about give and take. That's one thing I think Trump absolutely gets and is good at - he's all about making deals and negotiating so everyone (in theory) comes out a winner.
I'm picturing him as some unholy amalgamation of the chainsaw zombies from RE4 and Piggsy from Manhunt.
Find a 3.5 game to join. Best version of D&D ever made.
Seriously. It's the same mentality that gets us content/trigger warnings plastered all over everything. Dumb fucks can't separate fantasy from reality.
LCL? The orange Tang stuff from End of Evangelion?
WTF happened? The original KCD was like the based game to end all based games. No way this social justard shit is coming directly from Daniel Vavra, right?
Your idea intrigues me and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
Woefully underrated comment here.
This is what he fucking gets for his "wheezy" comment. I hope he Alt-F4s himself.
Mega.nz offers 20GB free on signup and DGAF what you store.
If you're technically inclined, you can also set up NextCloud on a spare computer at home (or in your homelab if you're hardcore) and then you have full control over everything.
Pardon the potentially stupid question, but this would technically qualify to be called a landslide victory, wouldn't it? I haven't been able to find any hard criteria for what constitutes a landslide other than "overwhelmingly higher support versus the competition" but this seems to fit the bill.
I've been playing the Atelier Ryza series for the first time and it's so refreshing. Plot is as deep as a puddle but the characters and atmosphere and vibes are so laid back and positive. It really feels like building a hideout in the woods with your friends, plus combat and crafting. No preaching beyond the usual anime "power of friendship" stuff. Tongue in cheek humor, earnest characters, great music and a sexy-cute protagonist with thick thighs for days and a magnetic personality. Adjustable difficulty for death-seeking and post-work decompression days alike, approachable and intuitive crafting, and a deep but easy to learn battle system. Summer feel-good vibes all around.
The only criticism I can throw its way is that crafting leads to a bit of yak shaving sometimes, but I'll take that any day over the ze/zi/zo/zum drivel vomited up by Modern Devs.
Soul Hackers 2 on XB1, Atelier Thighza-- I mean Ryza 2 on PS4, and some retro Genesis and PSX romhacks on my RG40XXH.
Stick with Origins. DA never reached its initial heights with any of the subsequent games.
Remember InFAMOUS? Where the city was cordoned off and quarantined and you could kill the people enforcing it? Played a lot of that in 2020.
Think it's time for a Vampire Hunter D rewatch.
