2024 should be named the year of the woke flops.

So far we have: Concord, Dustborn, Flintlock, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, DragonAge: Vailguard, Joker, Kamala

2024

What a fucking year it's been. Starts with GG2: SBI Boogaloo almost 10 years after the first, all those media flops as the wider consoomer market rejects Woke products en masse, ends ish with Trump re-taking the WH with a victory almost so abosolute the opposition couldn't even come up with a concession speech until a day later when everyone was sober enough to copy and paste something and prop the mouth piece up for a few minutes who still then went on to use the word "fight" 20 times if not more. Those would be considered fighting words/insurrectionist were it coming from others, ofc.

Star wars outlaws! Plus AC Shadows is doomed, so I'd call that an honorary flop.

He should sue to force them to hold to the Compact.

Technically the compact isn't legal, since the Constitution doesn't let member states make treaties with each other.

Even by their rules, it's not officially in effect. Hilarious, though.

I know, I just want to see the contortions. Would the left willing declare something they did null and void because it was unconstitutional just to own Trump?

They also never intended to enforce it. It was always a trick to try and get some of the "always red" states to join them to flip close races through it.

the word "bloodbath" hardly does it justice.

Remember how the polls were within a couple of 1/10 of a percent? How the lefty news sites had Harris ahead in the electoral college counts? Pepperidge Farm remembers!

Remember how Trump was campaigning in blue states near the end? Almost like he didn't think he was going to lose any of the swing states and might be able to pick up some blue ones?

Remember how Kamala was campaigning in blue states near the end? Almost like she didn't think she had any chance to win any swing states and was worried about losing some blue ones?

Watching what people do is far more useful than listening to what they say.

Interesting that Colorado stayed blue.

They have those venezuelan gangs there taking over apartments.

Even if that proved to be fake, I'd have voted for the guy that said he was going to get them out of the country.

I heard that shit even infested Texas.

Someone pointed out that Kamala won every state that didn't have a voter ID requirement, and Colorado was one of those states.
Edit: it seems that was incorrect. She won most of those states.

Colorado mails out a ballot for everyone, and only ~80% max ever vote in voluntary elections (~90% in Australia with mandatory voting).

That means there's an extra 1/4 of the vote that's sitting out there in trashcans or can be harvested and all you need is some basic information and a signature that's similar enough and it's completely undetectable.

It wouldn't be hard for a crime organization or even on a small scale to fake ballots.

For example you find out who doesn't vote in your neighborhood and steal the ballot from their mailbox. Then you go around collecting signatures for climate change or gun rights and get their signature and copy it. It doesn't have to be a good forensic copy with the same stroke order and shit, just so it looks close.

Election with mail-in ballots are not elections.

Are you implying that it is fake? Because the police said it was fake, then the apartment complex uploaded a bunch of videos of venezuelan gangs and their correspondence with the police that don't give a shit.

No, I was unclear. That's on me.
I meant even if that had proved to be fake, I'd still have voted for the guy that said he wanted them out.

There's no way I'd just roll over and let that happen, even if it turned out to be a hoax.

But it wasn't a hoax. There were people being pulled from their apartments at gunpoint.

Colorado has multiple ultra rich blue cities that make up for any wavering that Denver and its surrounding towns might do.

So for every poor apartment bound guy who flipped because of that shit, there are 3 Cali elites cancelling him out from their 20 million dollar mountain home.

Pyrric victory on that end. I think she will be back in Trump's admin - she'd make a good Press Secretary. Imagine how much she'd troll the FUCK out of them considering she's an ex-news broadcaster.

Pardon the potentially stupid question, but this would technically qualify to be called a landslide victory, wouldn't it? I haven't been able to find any hard criteria for what constitutes a landslide other than "overwhelmingly higher support versus the competition" but this seems to fit the bill.

There's no reason not to call it a landslide.

Landslide is a stretch.

''Sweeping all swing-states'' is enough of a description in a ~50.8% vs ~48% ( they are still counting somehow ) thin popular vote victory.

I think that taking every swing state and winning the popular vote (which Republicans typically lose) counts as a landslide. It's not a 1984 Reagan/Mondale landslide, sure, but it still counts.

It is a complete fucking landslide. Popular vote, electoral vote, Senate majority (not a supermajority unfortunately), House majority.

The term they use is saying he essentially has a mandate for the next administration. He can do whatever the fuck he wants because he doesn't have a house or Senate blocking him.
