They didn't speak up on the general issues, but THEIR issues specifically, which caused division in the movement where none existed before. Then the usual hate-whitey crap was put in there to divide even more to the point that the organizers left in disgust and the movement collapsed within almost instantly.
Since then, the Uniparty will NEVER stop dividing people in as many ways as possible to keep them fighting each other. This allows the same elements the OWS people were protesting to continue on gambling and having the taxpayer bail them out when it doesn't work.
What is surprising is that the vast majority of the protesters sided with the crazies who were inserted into the movement to destroy it. They accepted them as leaders, and that is what they believe now. None of the organizers who were kicked out could manage to continue organizing.
They love it because it is effective in dividing the populace. Those who buy into it gets free gibsmedats while those that oppose are persona-non-grata.
