Story: [...] It's basically 'The Little Mermaid', but ran through a Witcher universe meat grinder
iirc there's a short story about that in one of Sapkowski short story collections. since you dont mention it, do you know it? how much is the movie influenced by that? are 'mermaids' similar to how they're described in the story? or do they just throw everything away and do their own interpretation of what this would look like in the witcher universE?
Not robbed, but just destroyed for fun.
We have some open bookshelves here (Germany) - put in old books you no longer want and pick a book for free if it's interests you. The ones in the nearest city are destroyed by now while the one in the neighbouring village still stands. You can obviously guess what kind of people destroyed the ones in the city.
Things that work in high trust societies get destroyed by low lifes. And those libraries do fall into that.
i dont mind fantasy worlds that have lands where black people live. and i'm fine with the rare person of those lands coming to other lands if it makes sense.
witcher 1 is an example with Azar Javed. far away land, sorcerer (read powerful).
random people being black? okay you require a roman like empire.
the fight would've been over by 30sec if he has am "free hit against back of head" opener. apart from that her punches seem to do as much damage as his punches - suggesting they punch with the same strength and have the same resilience.
only later she shows technique that might help her, but not at the start
nothing new, good that some of them finally understand it themselves.
as they moved away from god and Christianity something was missing in their lives and other things have taken that place.
And since it's mostly leftists who do that they most often used leftists ideas as a substitute- veganism, trannyism, .. All with preaching & trying to convert others. And they show the same religious zeal as other fanatics and want to punish the "infidel". All with an original sin - being white.
Generative ai proponents say that it (generative ai) can be used as a tool to enhance or speed up creativity or prototypes or as a reference.
Because it is good for prototyping and concept art.
All your yapping following doesn't matter to that. Small inconsistencies are not important for that.
this is why they hate steam and the ability of people to see how many people play on steam.
if people can see way less than 100k (my latest info before the weekend) on steam people ask themselves where the other numbers are coming from.
"We want to get non-fans watching the movie and this character will be able to ask the questions the watchers have!!!!"
They fail to understand that even most fans of MK dont give two fucks about the story and just want action, gore & hot chicks in skimpy outfits.
If you are willing to watch foreign movies you can try the Korean Emergency Declaration
i avoid trying new stuff for a while now. not worth my time investment, due to early cancellations or shifts in tone (bait & switch).
i heard good things about andor, but as you pointed out season 2 will show how it goes. if they make a 3rd season and all those 3 seasons are deemed good then I might start watching it.
And do take note that the guy is a pussy in the movie, not someone others aspire to be (and that's also made obvious in the movie).
And the Marauder team looks like they do pass those requirements.
There's a reason why ANH only showed the interrogation droid and we never saw it in action. Torture doesn't belong on screen in Star Wars. Same as rape and sex.
It's an easy way out. "How do we show our audience, they're a mature audience and not watching a kid's show? Deep plot & captivating characters? Nah, that is effort. We just shove in rape, sex, gore and similar things."
Regarding the "fan community": Where are you interacting with it? Reddit? Remember that everyone worth their salt has left reddit and all discussions are compromised by leftists and trannys in mod position.
