Helps support farmers by pre-selling their crop to have a more predictable income, and the customers get fresh, seasonal produce every month or so. Usually dropped off at a central collection location, so not exactly farm-to-door delivery. Mileage may vary depending on the farms around you.

A guy in LA is suing about 50 women who belong to a facebook group called 'Are We Dating The Same Guy? LA'. The group has well over 50k members and seems to exist just so women and defame and degrade the men who have the misfortune of going on a date with them. They have, apparently, been making up things about this guy and other men for years.
Naturally facebook has no interest in removing the group and apparently similar groups exist for other large cities in the US. Recently made national news and of course the media couldn't fall over itself fast enough to defend the women and the libelous activity they were engaged in.
