Remember Vivek Ramapajeetswampy's crashout? Microjeets Satya Nadella is having his own Jeet Crashout
It seems jeets have this intelectual crutch where they cannot understand that people react negatively to baseless bragging and inferences of superiority.
Here Satya is ranting about people calling CoPilot (Windows AI) slop. Even his rant reads like something written by AI (they are known to talk like this). He appears to be defending Windows becoming an AI tool instead of an OS but ends up saying nothing at all.
I have the misfortune of having to use a laptop with Windows 11 for some work I do for my church.
Microsoft has released some stinkers in its day (ME, Vista) but Windows 11 has to be the worst of them all. I cannot stand the phone-ification of operating systems. XP was the peak of Windows. They should be maintaining and updating that operating system to this day.
Doesn’t help that a bunch of programs aren’t being remade for W11. W10 has so much stuff that I use that won’t work on W11 (and I doubt the guy on GitHub that released it 7 years ago and hasn’t been online in 4 will make a new one).
Case anybody doesn't know there's a project Mass Grave / massgravel on github that is free activation.
Windows 10 IoT LTSC gets security updates until like 2032 I think. Can use mass G to get a hardware key then reinstall OS from cd if you're worried about hacks.
Main difference from normal Windows 10 is no app store and it's stuck at 2022? features. Kinda annoying, but Windows 11 is a turkey. Never Windows 11.
Could you link it? I'd like to keep win10 as long as posible, hopefully until all this enshittification ends.

https://github.com/massgravel/Microsoft-Activation-Scripts
They have a link for the IoT iso if you want to go that route (it's from MSDN not public, but I verified the hash with internet archive and a few other sources). It can change your windows version and license in lots of ways and I think it can just extend your regular Win10 support for another year without a MS account, but I haven't really looked into what the best is.
BTW if you want Game Pass it's basically impossible on IoT because it's app store. You can kind of get it working but it's buggy.
I haven't noticed any security updates on IoT so far, so I don't know that official support means much. They'll probably release a security update anyway for regular Win10 if it's a really bad exploit.
microsoft leaves vulnerabilities in their product as a service to the NSA and CIA.
to get you stop using w10 they'll just release their own exploits.
you can't negotiate with terrorists.
Programs written correct for Windows 3.1 still generally work, in Windows 11. Aside from 9x/NT transitional era multimedia software, part of what has made Windows Windows is not ending programs to be remade for new versions, 99% of the time.
Mmm, compatibility mode!
writing windows software sucks more than anything. they kept making it worse. there's no way people are going to keep cranking out open source for that dogshit platform.
the same reason microsoft infiltrated linux and started pushing wayland and rust. two more turds designed to clog up open source and make it unworkable.
If I had my druthers there would be a special court for these interfering fucks and when sentenced we'd cut off their hands.
Meanwhile they tried tabletifying windows before and it was horrible.
One of the reasons windows 11 sucks so bad is because they've spent all their resources on the tablet surface use case. Windkos 11 is ok on a brand new surface pro. Especially if you always use onenote and one drive.
Sucks on a desktop.
Nah. It was Win 7 and prior to that Win2k. XP took multiple service packs to be decent, but 7 and 2k were rock solid out of the box and both introduced new game changing features at launch. (DirectX for 2k and virtualization in 7)
Plus Aero looked fairly nice as opposed to the XP's Fischer Price theme.
Perhaps I’m just nostalgic for being a teenager.
Zero doubt that XP was peak. Everything going forward is just going to be data mining and adware systems.
Started bragging about the subversion/invasion before succeeding
And yet global desktop infrastructure has already been damaged. I don't see Windows recovering from this until the people at the helm are ousted and proper engineering restored as the cornerstone of the company's product motivation.
They really are just brown smelly yids
Baseless bragging was a way to gain izzat for himself and his caste in the shithole he came from. Jeets can't understand pushback against that, because they don't belong here, so it makes them sperg out.
Every street shitter is like this.
Win11.. making you do extra 1 or 3 steps to do the same thing as in win7 or win10 lol.
I sincerely hate all the new "settings" pages they've been failing to switch everything over to in order to phase out the control panel. It's gotten bad enough that I'm just retreating further and further into command line to bypass their terrible and feature incomplete interface.
Please let the Steam machine be not shit and expensive. I will give trust my meme collection to Linux at this point.
We don't yet know, but let's hope GabeN made sure to secure large RAM contracts, before November.
I'm seriously worried they didn't, they've had disappointingly small hardware releases before and I wonder if they really prepared to ship big numbers with ironclad contracts this time.
It won't matter, the companies can just eat whatever financial penalty they incur for breaking contract in order to fulfil the infinite demand of AI data centers for the next several years. The Gabe Cube is not going to be affordable because no gaming hardware is going to be affordable for the foreseeable future.
Also true.
Although I guess that depends on your definition of foreseeable. Since I can definitely foresee one future where the AI bubble pops and all the hardware manufacturers have to come crawling back, if somehow the entire economy isn't just rubble after that pop.
Cue Rorschach 'And I'll whisper, "No."' Meme.
If they start handing out 5090s for $500 I might not be as strong as he.
Never go for the latest and greatest. Always go with yesteryear's top of the mid range card that didn't blow up and was just a humble workhorse.

no jeets in american tech leadership
You had me at "no jeets".
I wish everyday Steam would release a desktop version of Steam OS. I'm too dumb for Linux and this is the only way I'd switch

lazy brown skinned fuck wits.
This is why they had to cry "racism" for years.
To get an opportunity to get their front in the foot door and then stink up the place with their incompetence, and I'm sure, insane B.O.
The slave owner class are greedy as fuck lately.
One thing I notice people underestimate is how current trends will effect them. This was not the time for either of them to make bad impressions. But, with Vivek, he seems to be very good at bad timing. He gives me the impression he uses the ," all press is good press" PR method.
It's like the Emperor's New Clothes, except that the entire crowd of citizens has been criticizing his junk for years, and he still believed it was truly fine cloth.
you really should read about "Izzat", which is sort of like "saving face"
There was a great post about it here about a month ago:
Izzat
Get that fucking curry muncher piece of shit out of my tech.
