He's getting paid full price to stay home so that he's stuck with the non-compete. the amount of money they were paying him to be on Fox is considered worth paying just to keep him silent. He's effectively still "employed" with his job being to stay home and do nothing.

Politicians and bankers own too much waterfront property. Florida was supposed to be underwater by now if my high school was to be believed.

"There is a phenomenon of psychology that some people are prone to zealotry. It does not matter what they believe in, when they come to believe in something they believe in it with all their heart. This type of individual who is likely to end up becoming a fanatical member to a certain ideology will, if they somehow become disillusioned with it, often find it easier to adopt an opposing or opposite ideology and be just as fanatical to said new cause rather than simply moderating their commitment to their first ideology as needed and making caveats and exceptions to its general principles."

All I ever wanted was the truth.

A tuna walks into a sushi bar and tells the chef, "You killed my father!"

Chef says "That's my business, fish."

The tuna thinks this for a moment and says "Very well. Then I challenge you to a game of chess. If I win, you stop being a chef forever."

"And if I win?" asks the chef.

"Then you can feed me to your customers," says the tuna.

So they start to play. Now, tunas love to play chess so in a few moves the tuna has the chef checkmated.

"Looks like I win," says the tuna.

The chef nods and plunges his knife into the tuna's belly."

But I won!" says the tuna.

"So did you father," says the chef.

I wonder what voice she used for the trial. The creepy throaty deep voice she always used in public because she read a study that it would lead a female CEO to be taken more seriously, or the normal female voice there are recordings of her having naturally?

between the leftist state bringing the hammer of police power on anyone that stands up to their state sponsored terrorism, and the increasing unlikelihood of the person behind the counter being an owner instead of a wagie for a multinational megacorp, what incentive is there to resist?

Ok normally I'm at the front of the line for "current year degeneracy bad" and "stop connecting things to the internet that really don't need to be connected to the internet" but I'll be honest this one is actually just funny.

This exactly. Trying to solve anything with "rules" is just asking for the two tiered justice system to enforce the inner party-outer party split even further. Rules don't matter to them, only violence and the immediate and credible threat thereof does.

Where was the meme that went "Man I didn't expect that the left would get NASCAR and the right would get Harry Potter in the divorce settlement"
