It all goes back to "change what you can, accept what you cannot". It's hard to fix fat, but you can do it. You both know it's a hard fight, so she has clearly conceded defeat (while you may not have won the fight, at least you're still swinging). Now look what this guy in OP's picture did, trying to fix looking homely rather than managing to come to terms with hid own body, learn to accept and love it as it is, and then work what attractive traits he does have. That top pic was when he wasn't accepting his own positive traits, and dear God was it a nightmare. But in the bottom pic, he at least looked pretty average, and so much more in control of his own opinions on who and what kind if person he is. Definite win for him and his self esteem.
I'll admit; that...... "movie" was my main reason for not bothering to check out the new one. Maybe I should reconsider. Not like there's anything "better" to watch instead. I'm basically down to cooking contest shows and political livestreams, at this point.
"Does it have a watchable story?" -"It has Substantial LGBT Representation." is the entertainment media's equivalent of "Is she attractive?" -"She's got a really great personality!" I think we all have that underlying suspicion that this is going to be another Ghostbusters 3 situation..
Prosecution will be entirely dependent upon who decides which information is "false", and the ones passing these laws have already proven themselves willing to literally change the definition of words to make what you say "false" and what they say "true".
1984 has got nothing on 2022.
I feel voting these days is akin to putting pressure on a gunshot wound. Sure, you're still going to have to go in there with a knife if you want any hope of recovering, but at least you're still stemming the blood loss a bit.
That would involve a woman both knowing how to code and more interested in doing actual work to create something instead of just loudly pissing on someone else's creativity to get attention; a very, very rare combination.
You can always rebuy the cards again once you're on more solid footing for such things. Hang on to a couple of the topmost oldies that stand to go way up if the game resurges like MtG did, and sell off the entire rest of them. Yes; even your current decks. There's lots of cheap alternative hobbies to get you through what is going to a lot of hard work and harder financial choices in the upcoming couple of years, and even a small cash cushion going in will allow you to make much smarter ones.
Well, old school "tentacle p*rn" was a way to get around Japanese censorship. The whole "that's not a penis; it's just a long, veiny, throbbing uh.. appendage! A" As for current trends like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, I dunno. Fun to draw, maybe? Iconic style choice? I'm not knowledgeable enough to answer that.
Japanese comic book: I got reincarnated as a super magical slime, and go on adventures as I create an entire kingdom of civilized monsters.
American comic book: I identify as the same super hero from 60 years ago, but now instead of having super adventures, I just care about how many ticks on Diversity Bingo I have.
I can't imagine why the Japanese one sounds more interesting..
Then go out and become one. :D
