The Quartering had a Bitchute post on how GB:Afterlife is getting mediocre reviews on RottenTomatoes, and the chief complaint is how much fan service there is. If you see it, can you leave a review? We need a break from all the crap going on right now, and going to see even a semi-decent Ghostbuster movie could be a welcome break.

Saying stuff like "too much fan service" is criticspeak for "people laughed at jokes I didn't get because I am a millennial fuckwit who never saw the original films." They probably prefer the tried and true method of calling fans misogynists and hoping to guilt them into buying a ticket.
lol when i think of the word fan service, i think of titties and showing off them legs.
93% audience score on rotten tomatoes, to the 63% critic reviews. This typically means the content is good.
Also, I'm downloading a... uh... ticket and will get back to you shortly.
I had no idea this was happening until just now. I thought the female reboot killed the franchise.
Heh, eye patch on, and sailing in the bay, roger that. :)
Can now confirm - It was good.
Considering that's just the "professional critic" reviews, I'd simply call it FUCKING SALTY. They can never forgive those that hurt their baby, the 2016 feminist trash.
I'll admit; that...... "movie" was my main reason for not bothering to check out the new one. Maybe I should reconsider. Not like there's anything "better" to watch instead. I'm basically down to cooking contest shows and political livestreams, at this point.
Reconsider. It's nowhere near that trash.
I know, which is why I am mildly interested in seeing this one. I won't blindly pay to see any movie any more, though, so that is why I'm fishing for reviews.
It's good, it made me want to re-watch the originals and I probably will. Stranger Things-lite. Metacunt and rotten tomato can eat my ass. The critics are just pissed because it wasn't woke like their 2016 feminazi circle jerk. There's mostly hwite folks in the lead roles, so of course they'd hate it.
I watched a couple of video reviews, and they said the same. I'm gonna go see it tomorrow.
Fan service = Lack of propaganda
Literally means you're giving people something that makes them happy, instead of trying to brainwash them for the greater good.
Therefore fan service is problematic. It's a missed opportunity and it provides respite, which might in itself undermine other brainwashing efforts.

A bit late, but here is my thoughts.
Its alright, I guess, but the actors are not good enough comedians (or the script is not) in order to carry it (there are some other parts like, (continuation errors, weird cuts in the story flow and so on), like the classics (it is much better than the one which shall be eternally forgotten and it works with not insulting any fans).
I just saw it myself, I enjoyed it a lot. First time in a movie theater in almost 2 years.
