I imagine it's less a conspiracy and more that alot of international real estate magnates have a horde of slush funds they keep on hand to automatically buy up suddenly free land post disaster.
You see it in hurricane areas. Immediately once the storm passes, they get people flooding in to buy up choice areas.
Not really a conspiracy. Just... another problem entirely that should probably be illegal.
You're probably spot on about everything else, though.
Economic warfare is another possibility.
Enforce covid bullshit on businesses that can't afford to fight it, while surreptitiously ignoring all these other businesses that are being run by the 'right people'. Drive people out of business, get them on the government dole, and then...
Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I'm still pissed off at all the good restaurants that got driven out of business because of covid. Places that had been around for fucking decades, places that people took their kids to on sunday - gone, just like that, for no fucking reason.
I'd argue that it's more young men are so fucking desperate for any type of father/patriarchal figure that they'll go with anyone whom so much as breaths in the right manner and ignore all the warning signs.
Jordan Peterson didn't really say anything revolutionary, but he was a male figure that came across as one of authority, and a lot of people want that kind of reassurance.
Stereotypes exist for a reason.
Surprising, I know.
showing how much improvement the Blacks had as a group under Trump compared to anyone else
Blacks are a solid 90% voting base for Democrats. Ninety fucking percent. If White people voted like blacks, the Democrat party as it is wouldn't exist.
The only time in recent years that's shifted in any shape or form was when Trump was on the ballot - and that was something like a 2% shift.
It's nowhere near the only reason why they froth at the mouth regarding Trump, but it wouldn't surprise me if some Democrat think-tanks saw those numbers and quietly shit themselves.
This is what happened in the Civil War, actually; one of the few Southern PoW camps had abysmal survival rates due to the fact that they just didn't have enough goddamn food to go around.
It's been a while since I cracked open the books, but IIRC, the commander in charge of said camp was one of the only Southern commanders that was executed after the war.
People never stop to question as to why, despite there being a rather large number of various native tribes still up and kicking all over the place even during westward expansion, there was not much pushback.
Atleast part of the answer basically boils down to 'Alot of said tribes absolutely fucking hated one another and would gleefully use all these new european technology to ramp up the killing, and payback is an utter bitch.'
People make furious noises about when Japanese game developers publish official stats for the female characters in their games until someone points out they're taking those numbers from real-life Japanese idols and models.
For an obvious example, people bitched about Shuten-Doji from FGO and how she's a blatant loli - until they post a picture of her actual voice actor and they damn near look the same.
Pretty much. EVs are toys - very expensive toys, but toys nonetheless. You could argue they have limited applications(say a daily commute of 15 minutes or so one way), but that still leaves you with a vehicle with extremely limited options outside of that compared to a normal car.
EVs will only become viable when their normal performance vastly outstrips gasoline-powered vehicles, and I don't see that happening any time soon.
I've never been able to fathom how most women can see hormonal birth control as a good thing.
You're actively fucking around with your body to such an extent that it can and will alter your judgment, thinking, and decision processes - just so you can... have sex? And we're supposed to applaud this?
More and more I'm stumbling across topics I know better than to consider too deeply, as the endpoint is rather depressing to consider.
The logic of 'feminists think all men are rapists because they hang around leftist men all the time' is... probably a little shaky, but then stuff like that happens, and I'm reminded that stereotypes exist for a reason.
Subject in question aside, there's been nothing more infuriating that watching a business that's been trucking along just fine for over a decade suddenly decide to try something 'new, innovative' and close up shop a few months later.
I see it mostly with restaurants, but I'm sure you could find it elsewhere if you looked for it.
I was about to say something, but then I remembered Bethesda didn't do Fallout: New Vegas, so, carry on.
Then again, Skyrim did have both Dawnguard and Solstheim. Hmm. Tough decision, really.
Take a character that canonically uses magic to make herself as hot as possible, and cast a person that looks like random background fantasy extra from generic fantasy land.
Yeah, the Witcher series was a shit-show from the start.
If you want any sort of 'natural' relationship, you need to be in a social setting that exposes you to single women.
This isn't an automatic guarantee that anything'll happen, but it does mean that it gives you experience. Social skills are, at the end of the day, skills, and they require practice.
The problem is that such an organic avenue is fucking impossible to find. So you have to go afield and outside your comfort zones. Which can be a good thing from time to time, but depending on where you live, when 'socializing with other men and women that are also single in a setting that has firm rules so everyone knows what to do' requires you traveling atleast 50 miles one way, uh... this causes problems.
All my hobbies are either loner stuff, gaming, or complete sausage fests(or the only women there are there because of thier husbands/dad/boyfriend). I've considered taking up dancing, but no local classes are available on my free afternoons. Sad.
Intelligence is one thing, discipline(and time management) is another.
While I've a few regrets about college, the one thing I don't regret is having to force myself to effectively manage my time and effort in a disciplined fashion to get the level of grades I was aiming for.
Turns out, I could get alot of stuff done just by keeping to a very strict schedule and forcing myself to get shit done.
Female [...] strength, size
They have none. Your father and brothers let you win in all those play fights, sweetie.
violence [...] grotesqueness and uncontrollability
We don't need fiction to see that.
Most werewolf fiction is just softcore porn done for women. But then, alot of fiction done nowadays is just softcore porn for women.
Mind, if you want to see the female equivalent, the Isekai genre in manga has alot of examples...
Don't make friends with demons. No joke, DO NOT invite the occult into your life because it sticks around.
Not one to believe in the supernatural, but if Sir Christopher Lee advises to not fuck around with that shit, I'm going to atleast pause a moment and maybe defer to his expertise...
I mean, I hate lawyers already, but here's one more reason to add to the pile...
KOTOR is basically one of the best Star Wars games ever made. It's hard to top. It basically gets Star Wars in a way few games do while not being afraid to actually - gasp - come up with new stuff to fill in the lore.
I like KOTOR2 more, though. It really did play around with the lore and go in philosophical directions you wouldn't really expect from a game about Space Wizards with Laser Swords. Some people have issues with that, but I love it.
Plus, it has Kreia.
SWTOR, the MMORPG... really, not gonna lie, while I have issues with some of the decisions made for some characters I like that only get mentioned in the background, I've got a weird, fond affection for the game. It's also got some really good story with some of the characters you can pick.
Last I heard anything about the matter, it was going full woke. So. Probably for the best. Bloodlines was very much 'lighting in the bottle' that people to this day still point to when they try to describe the 'feel' of the World of Darkness.
They were never going to top that.
I can believe it happened, because there's one obvious point in this story that this lady seems completely unable to fathom - this nice little thing called 'identity theft' and 'fraud'.
If you're a professional contractor, and you're going through someone to hash out the details of payment, and the constant refrain from the woman is 'Oh, my husband is paying for it' and you don't see the actual husband, alarm bells are going to start going off. And fences can cost a lot of fucking money.
So, yeah. I can honestly see a bitch being too stupid to stop and realize that, oh, this guy just wants reassurance he's actually going to get paid for all the work he's about to do and materials he's going to buy.
that Christians are a bigger threat
This is nothing new among leftists. Regardless of the circumstance, no matter how awful various factions act out, the nation as a whole is always, always one bad day away from turning into a Facist Christian Theocracy. Always.
You don't even need to go to God; The bible is, at it's core, documentation - of laws, parables, allegories, stories and cautionary tales that rely on actual historical and sociological events of the times.
In other words, there is context. Nothing occurs in a vacuum. You can't look at scripture without acknowledging the society that it comes from - and that's where alot of things get really interesting.
History is one of the easiest topics to use to lie to people, as facts and events in a vacuum can be interpreted in a number of ways, and simply engineering in omission can change the story in it's entirety.
Over time, I've begun to feel that Christianity suffers alot from 'modern' interpretations of scripture. There's reasons for it - if you really start looking at some of the lessons in context and actually thinking about it, Christianity is far from as passive as alot people love to paint it. But, for good or for ill, alot of people are very invested in carrying the martyrdom interpretation of scripture.
Not something I've watched(because it isn't out yet beyond a trailer), but I'm really chomping at the bit for Naked Peak to be coming out, as it's going to be a an anime adaption of Lovecraft's Mountain of Madness, with all the autistic obsessive Japanese attention to detail that implies.
