The sad thing is that the jokes are literally writing themselves. Real life is this stupid, and all you have to do is point and laugh.

That is not the face of a woman that fears for her life. That is the face of someone who thinks that they're immortal.

People have been way too comfortable fucking around. Now they're starting to find out, and they don't like it.

The hysterics surrounding the sixth really piss me off. Considering it's Feds mourning the time they had the fear of their constituents put into them, it's all the more infuriating.

Ten Marios would be weird.

Two words: Double Cherries.

I just picked up Windswept. It's like Donkey Kong Country had a baby with Yoshi's Island. Very pretty and detailed pixel art, very tight and engaging gameplay. Minimal punishment for making mistakes, you just bounce right back to the checkpoint and keep going. The standard campaign has been pretty normal, but the challenge levels kicked my ass in the best way possible. It took me ages to beat the first one. Then I realized I missed a coin at the end of the level. So I hopped back in a recollected it with minimal effort, and it felt really good.

TNG is loaded with proto-woke. Ideology exploration that clearly leads to our current insanity, but is alright because it's all just hypothetical scenarios involving aliens.

They've pathologized normal human relationships to the degree that natural reproduction and monogamy is considered perverse and degrading (Hiya, Imp.)

Of course, half of the fetish is them actually being a desirable female in the first place....

If you keep getting away with murder, despite everyone knowing you're the murderer, are you really gonna put the effort in to cover your tracks?

I remember reading a book where Luke was flying around the galaxy, seeking anyone who seemed force sensitive to recruit them to the new Jedi Order. His friends were helping in their own ways, like Lando checking out gambling circles for people with unusually consistent streaks of luck. Jedi were found, false positives led to other story hooks, there was drama!

It was infinitely more interesting than anything Disney ever cooked up.

It's so frustrating. I remember seeing a greentext story about an Orc paladin who had been spared and mentored by another Paladin who converted him to his order. The guy was unquestionably Good, but also brutal and violent in his quest to smite evil, dealing out uncompromising ultimatums and even punishing allies who backslid in his presence. You can't get something like that if Orcs are just green men with nothing different.

One of my favorite, subtle Smiling Friends gags had SATAN getting visibly annoyed that his Indian Doordasher told him happy holidays instead of Merry Christmas.

I used AI once to try and generate a couple of my characters for the fun of it. I saw some details I liked in the generations and incorporated them the next time I refined their designs. Would I be excommunicated for using AI concept art in the creation process?

It's worth nothing that the spiritual leaders at the time, the Pharesees, were VERY legalistic. There was a prevailing mindset, that Jesus called out repeatedly. As long as the letter of the law was followed, one could do whatever they wanted, otherwise. This led to grandiose displays of public piety. The original Virtue Signaling.

Now, imagine being in this position, a corrupt official, utterly convinced of your own righteousness. Suddenly, this rabble-rouser shows up who is living up to multiple messianic prophesies, figuratively and literally. He's winning hearts and minds, and is unkind to you and yours, calling out your hypocrisy and insincerity. Is it any wonder they turned on Him?

Granted, some were won over, like Nicodemus. But with the majority of the religious authorities so utterly against Him, it's unsurprising they were able to take swaths of sheep with them.

Maternalistic. Paternalistic would involve tough love and letting people make mistakes for the purposes of self improvement.
