DnD watered down all the races to being visual aesthetics rather than being utterly alien to humanity. They want the theater faggot audience who want to be the exotic Tiefling without the uncomfortable truth that they're descended from someone who literally fucked a demon. Furthermore, edition 5.5 of DnD make it so a gnome isn't inherently weaker than an orc, your character's starting attributes is determined by the background you pick, not race. And no background imparts a penalty to stats, only bonuses.
Absolutely. Women, the gays, the jews, the globalists, the commies... all get their fair share of blame, but the theatre kids are a big source of our problems in society, and they don't get nearly enough attention, even though thats what they crave.
i remember a former boy actor that groomed kids who are alone or doesnt feel "special" into doing mock shootings, kidnappings, and etc on discord. basically tell them to stage it and record it for fame. the former boy actor had his 5 minutes of fame on some disney show and wanted fame again.
It's so frustrating. I remember seeing a greentext story about an Orc paladin who had been spared and mentored by another Paladin who converted him to his order. The guy was unquestionably Good, but also brutal and violent in his quest to smite evil, dealing out uncompromising ultimatums and even punishing allies who backslid in his presence. You can't get something like that if Orcs are just green men with nothing different.
Characters are only exceptional when they are an exception. Drizzt is a Drow who forsake the inherent cruelties of his people to be a hero. If the Drow are reduced to being goth elves, he's just Aragorn with white hair and grey skin.
As a former DM, the edition matters not for the adventure. The DM is in full control. If the DM says the Drow is racist then he is. Whatever lore is written in whatever books of whatever edition are irrelevant to what the DM says. That's why I'm fine to play any edition of D&D because the edition is irrelevant to the role-playing experience if the DM is competent. If any player has a problem, they can get fucked because they aren't the DM.

WoTC is insulting the original creators of D&D. Musk got that right.

TSR: We need immoral creatures people would have no qualms about killing.
Millennials: I made the goblins human and created porn of them.
Gen Alpha: I grew up jerking off to them, goblins are humans too. Humans are racist.
Gen Beta: We trolled a Jewish Reddit mod for months with goblin porn but everyone else is racist.

Do people like 5.5? I tuned out in 5th because I did not like how they changed spell casting so I have no idea if people prefer 5.5 over 3.5
