It might be a step in the right direction, but they're still about 50 steps back from where they ought to be. I'm not throwing 60 bucks at a franchise that disillusioned me back on the 3DS for doing a handful of innovative things that'll be thrown out again for the next game, per the norm.

Also, the pokémon designs and re-designs have been getting more and more retarded looking with each game.

I'm still skeptical that the Ozone Layer was ever in real danger to begin with. Everything about the hole panic echoes the current climate panic we've been eternally embroiled in. It was overly sensationalized, presented misleading information regarding natural cycles of the environment, and was a bludgeon used to force environmental legislation.

i've been enjoying Ring of Pain. It's a card-based roguelike that really puts an emphasis on planning ahead and managing your stats and resources as effectively as possible

Either that, or they'll make Dr. Wily black and he was the true hero the whole time, fighting against the oppresive Dr. Light who was keeping him from achieving his true potential.
