I miss when it was fun....
I used to find it pretty fun. They had some charismatic runners and it just had a fun, laid back atmosphere with some moments of glory.
Now it feels like a bunch of sad, angry pedophiles sitting in a room playing video games and barely talking because their obvious man voices clock them instantly. And it feels like that because it is.
That applies to speedrunners in general really. Most of them got their start as comfy background noise.
Now its "mods MODS do your job!" constantly, while the obvious man voice has his pronouns and new name plastered all over the UI and the chat spams whatever Gay Emote that particular streamer has.
I remember seeing the clip of the woman who just went of on a rant because no one was paying attention to her, good times.
I hear that DnD events hosted by woke companies are the same way since the sad, angry pedophiles are the only ones that they haven't driven away.
If they had games done quick without cheats it could be fun.
Who wants to watch some nerd use a robot to upload shellcode by pressing buttons a thousand times a second to win.
Speaking of which they should make a DAS-only classic tetris league. Boom, tetris for Jonas.
