This is purely anecdotal but I've noticed an uptick in the phrase African American. During all tthe 2020 stuff black seemed to become the dominant nomenclature for dark pigmented people.

It’s the purity cycle, they swap it every 5-10 years because the other word is too “problematic”.
Nothing will ever be as funny as "People of Color" = good, but "Colored People" = racist.
Cold weather hitting a lot of the south I noticed the news talking about homeless freezing wouldn't call them homeless either. It's some bullshit like people experiencing homelessness or the unhoused.
So I'm surprised it's not going to people of African descent experiencing a skin color darker than white.
Yea, I never understood that either
It's because liberals think negative stigma comes from the word used to describe a group of people and not the behavior of a group of people themselves. That's why they change the terms constantly: a new word is a "clean slate" meant to give the group of people another chance, but inevitably they still act the same way, thus dirtying the slate again causing the new word to become a slur, and the cycle continues
“monkeypox needs to be renamed to avoid people thinking of black people” - the WHO
Let's change it to fruitpox.
The "Colored People' = racist is funny on its own because it was the original PC term.
It's People of Blackness, now. You gotta put the "people" part first, you see.
The euphemism treadmill.
I’ve always thought it was a dumb term considering any “African American” is so far removed from Africa.
They literally called Idris Elba that despite him not being American.
"Man I specialize in hunting black vampires, I don't know what the PC term for that is"

No surprise
Offended queers need to feel special so they keep looking for new outrage and it repeats in a cycle
The correct term is negroid
Niggers don't want to be associated with PoX. They know whites are about to lose their cool and don't want to be associated with Patels and Lopezes.
They read their Islamic texts. My against my brother. My brothers and I against my family. My family against my town, my town against my nation, my nation against the world. <- they are here, at this moment.
They've used up b-b-b-b-black by now and the very word is tainted in the eyes of the public. I know a few actual African guys at work that refuse to even call themselves black, because they don't want to be associated with American blacks.
Ignore what they want you to say. Here’s a handy chart for the proper language.
Time to dust off the Elon Musk African American memes I guess.
they're called Niggers son.
oh don't pretend like you don't choke on bbc and like it
I think I’ll just stick to “nigger”
I heard a term for he first time last week. AAEV. African American English Vernacular.
Alongside a solid use of gender neutral terms from tradcucks, including some surprising ones like "parenthood" and "as a human".
Aaev is what they used to call "ebonics" until we made fun of them for it.
The reason they change the words is because they HATE it when we make fun of them. So take every change and make fun of them with it.
They also gave it a long and sophisticated name to make it sound like a valid language, and not a disgusting perversion of English spoken by uneducated, subhuman, retarded thugs and which is meant to be denote only anger and aggression, not gratitude, humility, compassion, or thought.
Usually I excuse dialects when its isolated in a geographic area. But niggers live among everyone else but speak a different language. That's an indication of insular culture and mental retardation.
Women have a similar trait with the California vocal fry.
And then immediately shortened it to an acronym that sounds like monkey noises lmfao.
EEE EEE AYE VEEE
AAEV = grade 9 dropout ghetto-speak. Gangsta or drug addict vocabulary.
around my parts of the world I haven't heard it at all. I was watching an old episode of static shock the other day and one of the characters said "African American", and I remember thinking I hadn't heard that term in a long time.
That's because of the BLT movement. Emphasis on "Black" eh?
Black (O)Lives Matter! (You green olive fans are racists!)
I greatly prefer the term Black. African American doesn't really include Blacks from other places, like Jamaica for example. Also hearing the term "African American" in reference to Blacks in The Netherlands is... amusing! 😆
My word for them never changed :^)
Just use our handy dandy taxonomy
