This is purely anecdotal but I've noticed an uptick in the phrase African American. During all tthe 2020 stuff black seemed to become the dominant nomenclature for dark pigmented people.

Nothing will ever be as funny as "People of Color" = good, but "Colored People" = racist.
Cold weather hitting a lot of the south I noticed the news talking about homeless freezing wouldn't call them homeless either. It's some bullshit like people experiencing homelessness or the unhoused.
So I'm surprised it's not going to people of African descent experiencing a skin color darker than white.
Yea, I never understood that either
It's because liberals think negative stigma comes from the word used to describe a group of people and not the behavior of a group of people themselves. That's why they change the terms constantly: a new word is a "clean slate" meant to give the group of people another chance, but inevitably they still act the same way, thus dirtying the slate again causing the new word to become a slur, and the cycle continues
“monkeypox needs to be renamed to avoid people thinking of black people” - the WHO
Let's change it to fruitpox.
The "Colored People' = racist is funny on its own because it was the original PC term.
It's People of Blackness, now. You gotta put the "people" part first, you see.
