This is purely anecdotal but I've noticed an uptick in the phrase African American. During all tthe 2020 stuff black seemed to become the dominant nomenclature for dark pigmented people.

Aaev is what they used to call "ebonics" until we made fun of them for it.
The reason they change the words is because they HATE it when we make fun of them. So take every change and make fun of them with it.
They also gave it a long and sophisticated name to make it sound like a valid language, and not a disgusting perversion of English spoken by uneducated, subhuman, retarded thugs and which is meant to be denote only anger and aggression, not gratitude, humility, compassion, or thought.
Usually I excuse dialects when its isolated in a geographic area. But niggers live among everyone else but speak a different language. That's an indication of insular culture and mental retardation.
Women have a similar trait with the California vocal fry.
And then immediately shortened it to an acronym that sounds like monkey noises lmfao.
