They will spend billions of dollars and decades to build manufacturing infrastructure in India that EASILY could be done in America at a faster rate. India has no manufacturing infrastructure advantage over the US, they literally just hate Americans that much. (twitter.com)

Why can't products be quickly or efficiently produced here?

Efficient = paying wages that are only possible if you leverage them against hell on earth (aka living in India)

There’s always a silent part.

India has the caste system. It has a population that's ready to be abused. You don't even need leverage.

That's what's going on. Blackrock and Vanguard are effectively buying up and asset-stripping every once-great company to truly create a neofeudal society where one small singular group owns literally everything and the rest of us become modern-day sharecroppers.

It's wrong to insult hell by comparing it to India.

Because Americans are human and prefer to be treated as such. That means reasonable hours, wages, and things like breaks. On top of it, they are usually pretty averse to committing immoral or evil acts for work, or seeing it happen around them.

As such, its literally impossible for the workplace these companies want to be given to Americans. And instead of making them compromise, decades of politicians compromised to them.

Stiffing regulations and bureaucracy designed to make mass production in the US unaffordable.

Can’t treat your workers like indentured servants (if they’re lucky) without a mob of angry people with guns showing up at your door.

So the argument/lie they will make is because of all the people there, right? Because if that's the case then you can just counter with the point that automation means those numbers aren't needed.

If they try to be extra retarded and claim it's because of the size of the country, neither China nor India has as much land as the USA. China comes extremely close, but India isn't even half the USA, it's that small in comparison.

Russia number 1: 17.1 million Km²

Canadia always number 2: 9.985m Km²

USA: 9.967m Km²

China: 9.5997m Km²

Brazil: 8.51m Km²

Oz: 7.688m Km²

India: 3.287m Km²

But then it's not about that, or anything argued in facts. It's just about paying next to nothing because slavery isn't looked fondly on in the West despite still going on in both other parts of the world and regions various Western nations still do business with. So even if you counter with these two points, and others, it won't make a difference, the rats will still keep trying to cheapen production despite the consequences that has on product quality.

IIRC, the US actually has more surface area by land than Canada if water surface area is omitted.

India also has very lax WHS laws and you can pay these workers a pittance and they'll gladly accept it because where else are they going to work? Same reason why companies are outsourcing to Vietnam more over China in recent years.

I know everyone wants to get industry back over here, and I agree with that, but I've seen the stories told by people who try to get things made in the US. Basically, you can't, for any amount of money. You are left with basically making it from scratch yourself, in house, or going overseas. All the expertise is dead, retired, or so overbooked it may as well not even exist. That has to be built back up, from scratch.

The expertise exists but corporations refuse to hire Americans to do it, essentially. There are hundreds of thousands (probably millions) of independent people who are capable of doing these things but will never be hired because of the HR department refusing to hire them for relevant jobs.

So all the remaining corps that do things here are big budget huge outfits, typically highly specialized to specific clients' needs (e.g., military/weapons manufacturing).

Couple that with the ~100-150 million people who don't belong here leeching off of welfare pushing up the cost of living to astronomical levels, and you have the situation you see in these videos.

Edit: A good example of a counterpoint to the idea that these things are impossible is Valve's manufacturing of the Steam Deck, Steam Controller, and Valve Index headset. While I'm sure there are tons of components not made in the US for these, it still shows that the sort of high level manufacturing plants that can produce these sorts of products can in fact be done in the US, it's just that the will has to be there to do it and the capital.

Instead, the vast majority of that capital is shipped overseas or wasted on imported or extant welfare leeches, over $1trn per year. We're all literally being robbed of our current and future wealth and the wealth of our children, to the tune of tens of trillions of dollars.

move production from China to India

So the options are either authoritarian driven corruption, or incompetence driven corruption?

Either way a bridge is going to fall down at minimum.

An Indian in our government simping for India. How very unexpected and totally not all pernicious.

How shocking. An Indian putting her tribe before the country she represents.

Greatly tribal with a superiority complex, lots of money, overrepresented in major industries but with 1.4 billion people and an average IQ of 76.

I'm not sure how this will turn out but I have little hope of anything good. They can send 2 million Indians in each country on earth and still have over 1 billion at home.

I'm trying not to get blackpilled but man am I tired of Indians.

Corporations will never forget the Commie Union labor strikes of the 70s that spread across all industries. Not carrying water for them, but industry has to look 20, 30, 40 years into the future since everything is so capital intensive.

Why dont we make the argument its more "green" to make the shit here. Cant be good for the environment for ships to use the most dirty of oil (oil that other vehicles cant use or it breaks local law) when traveling across +1000 miles across the ocean.

These commie assholes talk about green house gas... well thats one sector we can curb gas emissions.
