Tabletop RPGs has become a den of LGBT and "diversity" activists.
If you look at any new game it's not about epic fights anymore but "talking at the campfire" and if you dare to find people to play with online you get mentally ill people that are such losers at life that they use the game session as a therapy session.
Popularized Dungeons and Dragons at the height of Covid lock downs when a bunch of normies had nothing better to do all day. Don't get me wrong, they're talented and the early campaigns are entertaining, but because they grew into a business they catered to the most vocal parts of their fan base, and facilitated the spread of The Message into TTRPGs.
Good call. Mooks can survive a fireball with some lucky rolls, but Cloudkill just stone cold murders anything with less than 5HD, so anything that makes it out is gonna provide the real fight for the encounter.
"This has little effect. The poison cloud is barely noticeable among the copious amounts of perfume and bodily musk of the performers. A few lose a single HP, most of them blame it on an unfortunate flatulation or discharge from one of their fellow dancers."
"Emboldened by the notion of a pyrotechnic component to their performance, they interpret the fireball spell as approval and begin gyrating faster. They begin stomping their feet as they lock eyes with you."
is this even a question the people that watch critical roll the new target audience for dnd and they eat this shit up also what is even supposed to be happening here like is that supposed to be a table why is a guy under it
The woman looks manic and if you look closely she has bubbles in her hair. This is almost certainly A.I. generated to some level. There’s also shitty happy orc art that becomes an insane fever dream if you start to examine it.
I’d like to find a D & D group, but I need to find ones using old editions. I get you can make whatever you want but the ones in charge now crapped all over the creator and they are obsessed with the usual current year stuff
Your hobby is your hobby. It’s not “turned” to anything. Just because these people over here play it one way doesn’t mean you have to drop the way you play.
Look I love DnD but it’s a game of make believe. You can still have an all white cast if you want
I just find it to be so absolutely petty that I can’t help but laugh a little
DnD is a tabletop game. When you play it, you can create any world you like. You can make every single character blue eyes and blonde hair if you want to.
Other people are going to create other worlds with black dancers with bubbles in their hair.
You don’t have to play that game. Pissing and mosning about seeing game art with a black character on it is such small potatoes
Dude this isn’t my game lol why do you think I’d have the answers?
DnD can be all sorts of shit. It can be paladins and wizards or it can be clowns at a circus. All it is is fighting monsters and cooperative interaction in the end.
You don’t have to play it that way. You can still do what you like with the lore you’re familiar with
Ignoring the race choices and the modernism and the complete lack of any traditional aspects of D&D, it’s still baffling. Let’s imagine this was an ad for a play or a fashion line or a graphic novel or something where you can ignore the parts that are jarring with what the product it’s selling is (maybe was, at this point): the issue is that she’s dressed in a sexy way, her body is nice and she’s in shape so she’s presumably supposed to sell something to either black or Indian (depending on how you read her, racially) men who want to fuck her or black or Indian women who want to be her. Sensible enough, right? Kind of odd for D&D, which has a traditionally more white and maybe Asian audience, but like I said, it could be fine for other products…
Except that then she has that weird angry/crazy/miserable expression on her face. If you told me this character was supposed to be demonically possessed, I’d say that sounds right. And of course, it’s much harder to sell that as “the woman you want to [be/fuck].” What she really gives off is “stripper who finally snapped.” It’s an ad that genuinely has no target audience.
Does D’nD stand for Darkies n’ Dindus now?

Critical Role has done irreparable damage to TTRPGs.
I haven't watched them but have heard the name. What have they done?

Imagine a neckbearded DM dropping anything close to "you arrive at a burlesque show featuring multiple women of color."
"I cast fireball."
Nigga please, I'm Cloudkilling this bitch

"And close the door."

but not just any women! trans non-binary lesbians!
40 years ago this shit was for nerdy white kids. Now I guess it's for older people with very serious psychosexual and social problems.
So gay theater kids? That tracks.

Hiding from the manically depressed new D&D audience.

Let them fail.
The black guy in the bottom corner, “UGH, black women!”
Thanks, now I have tranny AIDS.
Black tranny AIDS, even better
This is propaganda. The purpose of propaganda is to brainwash and/or humiliate. It’s about destroying everything we love
So... she has three legs. AI generated art?
Yes, it’s a lot cheaper. Remember capitalism bad!
Thankfully the comments are all "WTF is this shit?!"
Living long enough to see everything I used to enjoy consumed by faggotry sucks

Anyone who doesn't know what THAC0 is should be viewed with extreme suspicion.
Easily bullied beta males. We've gone full circle.
Dungeons & Drag-queens
By god people are sensitive here
4th time I've seen you. Why the fuck are you even here/how did you get here.
Its confounding.
It’s not hard to get to
See this is one of those comments that make me wonder if you're severely autistic, or obsessively taking the piss.
If it's the latter the commitment borders on disturbing.
DiStUrBiNg
Damn you’ve got a low bar for being disturbed
Or you put excessive focus connotation.
Finish your sentence
People generally don't like it when their hobby is turned lame and gay by a bunch of retarded activists and tourists.

No, you're just clueless as to why people are upset.
Brainwashing is a bitch.
occam's razor, he's not clueless he's jewish
Oh I understand perfectly why people are upset
I just find it to be so absolutely petty that I can’t help but laugh a little

What societal conditioning are you afraid of? That people will think a game of make believe can have nonwhite characters?
It’s a fantasy game where people create whatever they want.
It’s even more telling that you can’t even articulate why you’re upset. You, instead, go for the “if you can’t read my mind” bs.
You must be a woman
You must be a normie
Yeah, you "played covid" along with all of the other brainwashees
lol I knew it
Brainwashees never understand anything explained to them, because they won't acknowledge that the societal conditioning even exists.
*Head back up your own ass.
