Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.
I was hoping someone would post that. It was specifically because women in those cultures were seen as the oracles, and they were trying to do that in the church.
Yeah, there's definitely a cultural element to it. But at the same time you also have:
1 Timothy 2:11-13
A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
Literal heresy. EDIT: We all know how the Catholic church would have responded to these women a long time ago considering they are heretics who are directly attacking the church. And you know what is funny? There has always been all these people accusing the Catholic church of corruption but having male priests who can't get married and can't have sex only makes the Catholic church uniquely, the least corrupt institution compared to all the other institutions in the world. Because women and dick thinking are a corrupting force. Corruption is everywhere but when soyciety talks about the Catholic church being corrupt, it's like a 450lb person(around 204 kg) talking about how fat this 290 lb person is. It should be common sense at this point to know, women are less able to resist corruption than men. So no matter how bad the Catholic church is, it's 10000 times worse everywhere else because they allow women and sex to play a huge part in their institutions. Ideally there should be zero corruption in the Catholic church but zero corruption within an institution is not really possible to achieve on this Earth. Because it's not like we can just read people's minds.
It's a social convention girls "mature" faster than boys. This isn't true, what really happens is women adapt earlier and better to social customs because they are more agreeable than men.
What they are trying to tell you when they say you should grow up, is that you should submit to societal demands because they are the ones making them
While this is obviously going against the Bible itself like others pointed already, but there's this also:
"We must fight for more women as priests and pastors!"
"Ok, so are you going to do? Preach the Gospel to those who need to hear it? Show true servant-ship and support, and create unbreakable families? Be a modern day Joan of Arc and gather up Christians against current evil?"
"No, better than all that! We're going to light up some pink smoke!"
They aren't going to preach the Gospel. In their about page they talk about meeting to collective church teachings going forward. Which means removing God and his Gospel as the authority and giving it to people.
It's because priests should be celibate and women should be wives and mothers. No man is going to fight and die so his woman can kill their kids, cheat on him with a train of foreigners and rob him blind in divorce court.
Celibate simply means you're not married. Priests must also be continent, because otherwise he cannot celebrate the mass. It is actually more important that he be continent than celibate.
Continence is to hold back from something that is licit, akin to fasting.
In the early church, many priests (including some apostles) were married, and thus not celibate. As married men, it was licit for them to have sex with their wives, and would have been considered chaste conduct. As priests, though, it was not permissible. They could not perform priestly duties while having recently been with their wives, because of the spiritual reality of those duties.
The closest thing I can find is the requirements for bishops in 1st Timothy, chapter 3:
1This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. 2A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 4One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 5(For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 6Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
Wait, no, that's saying the opposite. Guess legit, biblical bishops no longer exist.
1 Corinthians 7 has a few things at least related, none would be something I’d call a requirement.
This probably being the most specific:
32 But I want you to be without care. He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lord—how he may please the Lord. 33 But he who is married cares about the things of the world—how he may please his wife.
The entire chapter gives more context about the roles of men and women though. I could speculate Catholics use this chapter because it does seem to imply that being unmarried and dedicated to the Lord is at least a bit better than marriage.
Okay, thank you for responding. That at least somewhat answers it. I just disagree with the Catholic tradition of keeping their church leaders celibate. It's dysgenic, leads to sexual immorality, is contrary to God's command for us to be fruitful and multiply, and isn't well supported in scripture. From my own reading of the Bible, I never saw celibacy for church leaders stated as a requirement. As an example, there's what u/BeefyBelisarius posted. In my own exploration of the faith, I've learned of quite a few false church doctrines being practiced in the Christian church, spread across numerous denominations, which take specific segments of scripture and elevate them beyond everything else, ignoring the totality of scripture, which provides more nuance, and leads to misinterpretation and sin. As such, it's made it borderline impossible to find a church home. I'm almost to the point of just starting a small Bible study with like minded people in my own home, to at least "gather with the saints" in some regard.
Yeah I’m not sure I agree either I just thought of that and looked it up. I’m not a catholic I just like to read the Bible.
To your point of leading to sexual immorality, that’s pretty much what Paul says in the chapter as a whole. Lightly paraphrased, it’s pretty much “it’s great to stay single and devote yourself towards God, but if you can’t manage that without sexual immorality, get married and have one woman.”
Yes, thank you. I thought I remembered reading that recently, but couldn't remember the exact passage, and I didn't want to bloviate about it without a quote to back it up.
This is as near perfect an example of the matriarchal longhouse as one can find. Women have removed their moral grounding structure (the Bible) in favor of what they deem to be moral, they then use authoritarian demands to force others to adapt to the new “morality”, this, when achieved, becomes temporary as it is always replaced by a new “morality” (see waves of feminism, definitions of rape, the bastardization of the Bible, abortion, etc). The only things that remain consistent are the matriarchal structure and the methods used.
A feminist voice for women in the Roman Catholic Church
So marxist.
It's worth noting what the marxists did as soon as they were able to...
During the Russian Civil War, many clerics were killed. Some died as a result of spontaneous violence endemic in the power vacuum of the war and some were executed by state security services for supporting the White armies. The church claimed that 322 bishops and priests had been killed during the Revolution.[36] Between June 1918 and January 1919, official church figures (which did not include the Volga, Kama and several other regions in Russia) claimed that one metropolitan, eighteen bishops, one hundred and two priests, one hundred and fifty-four deacons, and ninety-four monks/nuns had been killed (laity not recorded).[37] The estimate of 330 clergy and monastics killed by 1921 may have been an underestimate, due to the fact that 579 monasteries/convents had been liquidated during this period and there were widespread mass executions of monks/nuns during these liquidations.
This is why men cannot have anything nice as a collective. Whatever he builds even at the end of the universe, you can be sure women will track him there to nag at him for not letting them in on it for free.
1 Corinthians 14: v 34-35:
Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.
Paul's wisdom is timeless.
I was hoping someone would post that. It was specifically because women in those cultures were seen as the oracles, and they were trying to do that in the church.

1 Timothy 2:11-13
A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
So it goes deeper than that imo.
Literal heresy. EDIT: We all know how the Catholic church would have responded to these women a long time ago considering they are heretics who are directly attacking the church. Yeah but have you thought about the fact that it makes them feel really icky that there are no female priests?
It's weird and creepy and incel energy like yikes
I think you're only missing "who hurt you?"
My favorite is how "grow up" is their go-to insult when they plainly talk and act like their mental maturation permanently halted in middle school.
For most of them, it did.
Their ability to be sexually attracted to age appropriate people also ended in middle school.
It's a social convention girls "mature" faster than boys. This isn't true, what really happens is women adapt earlier and better to social customs because they are more agreeable than men.
What they are trying to tell you when they say you should grow up, is that you should submit to societal demands because they are the ones making them
Or the new classics:
"Touch grass."
"Move out of your parent's basement."
"You're full of hate."
I think there's "a lot to unpack" as well.
Responding to that with "You are right to fear the monsters you've created." causes them to BSOD lol.
While this is obviously going against the Bible itself like others pointed already, but there's this also:

"Female priestess"
*Looks inside*
>is actually commies
Everytime
Holy shit six whole women bitched about something? NBC working to break the biggest stories around
The bible specifically excludes women for priesthood. Are they calling the bible a "sin"?
It's because priests should be celibate and women should be wives and mothers. No man is going to fight and die so his woman can kill their kids, cheat on him with a train of foreigners and rob him blind in divorce court.
Celibate simply means you're not married. Priests must also be continent, because otherwise he cannot celebrate the mass. It is actually more important that he be continent than celibate.
What do you mean by continent here?
That he doesn't shit his pants.
Joe Biden shuffles away.

OK. Thanks.
It means self restraining. I don't know the difference between celibate and continent in this context
I know it's part of Catholic tradition now, but is there a Bible verse commanding teachers and leaders of the church to be celibate?
The closest thing I can find is the requirements for bishops in 1st Timothy, chapter 3:

Without even looking into the organization I'm guessing funded and chaired by Jews ...
My immediate thought as well—how many of them are ethnic Jews?

Look at all those hooked noses, low ears, and generally pinched features.
Priests are the successors of the Apostles. There were no female Apostles. Simple as
"Well.. there was that one whore who hung around for a while."
Sorry Miss Magdalene.
Disciple sure. Plenty of women were Disciples of Christ
God damn they can't just shut the fuck up about anything.
Here’s the group’s website:

I went down a rabbit hole of watching Andrew Wilson debating Secural Humanist. And these broads mission statement reads just like the SH manifesto

I guess climate change is off the menu again.
Pride is a sin

Great way to look at it. The women are always free to start their own church, but this is about them wanting to destroy another men's space.
Sure we can, but only if we're willing to collectively work together as men to put women, and the white knight simps who enable them, in their place.
And not a single attractive one among them. Sure it's a coincidence, though.
get thee to a nunnery
Their pridefulness doesn't allow that.
They want to be seen and heard, they want to tell others what to do rather than pick up their crosses and follow Him.
How many of these cunts are actually yentas?
The solution is to beat them until they understand reality.
Their pussies are so dry they belch a choking cloud of pink dust.
... are you picking the new head feminist like the pope or something?
Does the smoke change color when you picked her?
It's one of the most direct and unambiguous violations of Scripture there is.
Yet Christians will displace God with feminism and worship it
