My favorite is how "grow up" is their go-to insult when they plainly talk and act like their mental maturation permanently halted in middle school.
For most of them, it did.
It's a social convention girls "mature" faster than boys. This isn't true, what really happens is women adapt earlier and better to social customs because they are more agreeable than men.
What they are trying to tell you when they say you should grow up, is that you should submit to societal demands because they are the ones making them
Or the new classics:
"Touch grass."
"Move out of your parent's basement."
"You're full of hate."
I think there's "a lot to unpack" as well.
Responding to that with "You are right to fear the monsters you've created." causes them to BSOD lol.
