Indeed. Hell, I think they somehow think that anime lolis are more real than real children (and somehow incapable of being really 18/500 years old). The way that a fair number of them write suggests that they perecieve and/or intend art to be more real than the real world.

It's existed for a little while. Jack Dorsey fucked off from Twitter and made another Twitter, but one that was 'decentralized' (whatever that means). It flew under the radar for a bit, but it got a surge in users after Elon joined team Trump, and again after Trump won. From what I hear it a purity spiral hell, is lousy with actual child porn, and right-wing trolls are still pissing in their hugbox.

Most likely the intel agencies backed it because @jack was there and he had contacts. If bsky is successful I wouldn't be surprised if Elon makes a deal with her and they link the networks together somehow pissing off the left.
