Fucking Ivory Towers for Ivy League.

Remember: Stalin feasted on suckling pig as his peasants toiled away.

Mao had a harem and a movie collection.

Kim Jong Il had every action movie, and regularly watched them in his theater.

They both caused famines.

Considering how communism is frequently the leading cause of death of communists he should be considered one of the paragons of it.

Pol Pot is the real MVP. He took out 40% of the population of Cambodia.

Was 40% a lot, though, particularly by Soviet and also Chinese comparisons when considering Stalin and Mao?

40% of 1'000'000 only sounds like more than 4% of 1'000'000'000 because of how misleading stats can be which is why raw numbers are often a better report.

Stalin has the high score, no question! But for sheer cultural impact, Pol Pot has to get an honourable mention.

Just think about it. Every single Cambodian that survived.Pol Pot's leadership was forced to murder their friends and family. Every last one.

Change comes from the barrel of a gun.

Every one of the Ivy Leaguers also worshipped Stalin and called the USSR a Soviet Economic Miracle.

There's a reason why academics get "randomly" slaughtered so often throughout history.

100% of cannibals favour you eating less meat, by eating you first 💀🍖

See what happens when you skew your sample population to just one group? The bias here should be blatant regardless of the questions being asked and the answers that come from it.

Rationing has ONLY worked under the circumstances of a society that has cultural hegemony, is under an external attack and there is an acceptance that this is temporary until the situation is resolved.

The left have removed everything but external attack and even then they try to paint that as 'a good thing' so it'll flat out fair, cause a prohibition style response where criminal elements rise in power to oppose the restrictions. These kids have been imprinted with these dumb ideas without understanding the concept of cause and effect or consequences.

Rationing has ONLY worked under the circumstances of a society that has cultural hegemony, is under an external attack and there is an acceptance that this is temporary until the situation is resolved.

And that's why Ingsoc waged perpetual war. And probably why politicians are inordinately fond of war: it gives them more popularity and gives them control.

The left have removed everything but external attack

They try to frame other things as external attacks: climate, viruses, etc.

These kids have been imprinted with these dumb ideas without understanding the concept of cause and effect or consequences.

But... but... the reason 90% of them vote for Biden and only 4% for Drumpf is because they are SMART and have GOOD ideas.

War isn’t going to work as a unifying force nor as a vector for control in America going forward. The most effective soldiers and their biggest supporters have dropped out of the military pipeline and no longer support the government.

For the paupers. The rich Intelligentsia will continue to shamelessly indulge and claim moral superiority at the same time.

I wonder why this guy gets boosted on Twitter so much.

He's a med student who makes allusions to getting kicked out and trying to save money to go back.

Credentialism isn't everything, but medical students are supposed to be seen & not heard.

And at this point, he's not even a med student at that.

Medical students specifically?

It's an industry joke.

Medical students hang around hospitals for years taking up space, making more work for the staff, getting in the way and contributing nothing. Until they actually pick up enough skills and experience that they can fucking be trusted with anything useful.

Alright, I can't wait to live through a second gas rationing event!

Where your car's license plate meant you could only get gas every other day based on if it was an odd or even number at the start of it. Or if it was a letter, it had to be odd or even in the alphabet. And don't expect to be able to fill up. You got 15-20 dollars worth of gas and you were expected to be happy to get it.

There were literal armed national guardsmen guarding the pumps, making sure you didn't cut in line and that it was okay for you to get gas that day. Didn't matter if the line was a half hour long to the pump, and you were wasting crap tons of fuel in line just waiting to get some, you do not cut in line or you will be forced to leave the line completely and start over.

Clearly, the right to vote should be restricted by """education""" and income. One pulse, one vote is rather bad. Only 28% of voters at large think that all their rights should be taken away. Let the Ivy League graduates be our overlords.

The results are misleading. The "Ivy League" sample is actually a SUBSET of the "elite" sample, so it doesn't describe the Ivy graduate population.

A survey of the whole graduate demo would likely return 50% or more in favor, just spitballing, but 89% is ridiculous.
