This is very true. At my game dev job almost all of people on my team are autistic, claim to have ADHD (mostly self diagnosed) or are some flavour of lgbt. More than half are women.
They all place their ideology first. Constantly try to worm trans or drag stuff into every project, villans are always white males.
Narrative, QA and HR teams are the most deranged.

When I was involved in hiring a few years ago I had to put together all the top applicstions, we had about 80 after removing the junk.
90% white males applied.
HR came in and went down my list saying "white male, white male, white male, white male ugh"
Told me I couldn't have so many white males on the list.
After an interview with one of the white males said the HR boss something like "he's great, too bad he's a white dude"
They ended up hiring two people, a White girl and an Asian guy but they had a huge debate about if his being Asian outweighed the sin of him being male.
When I said "We should just hire the best" I was told "If we only hired the best then the whole company would be white dudes" which was amazing to hear an HR dept admit.
Anyway the company is now on the brink of collapse.

That's the only thing I'll give him credit for; it looks like, mental health and uglification aside, the dude moved up in the world in a big way. Went from a solo dev with essentially zero footprint*, to a senior designer at a big company. Worth it? Not for me, but it's still a fairly impressive journey, and I can appreciate that.

I'd like to point out that this game asserts that all the major religious sites in the world are connected by some mystical Great Circle. After building the series on the Christiano-Judeic myths of the Ark of the Covenant and the Holy Grail, they are shifting to the oh-so-tiresome trope of "all religions are correct," because this all means that the Vatican, or Notre Dame de Paris are of equal religious, mystical consequence as Stonehenge or some random tomb or mausoleum, like the pyramids of Giza.
