Colonialism is objectively bad. It's the same reason I oppose mass migration. I'm not going to suddenly support migration because my benighted people need civilizing. It's my home, and they're my retards. The weirdo foreigners can get out.
The fact that you ended it with a statement of mass murder is why the foreigners can get out. Don't think for a second that the Islamists raping your kids aren't also of the opinion that it is corrective rape to a kufar that is finally experiencing morality from a Muslim man.
Colonialism had benefits for both the indigenous and the settlers, but if we're arguing some kind of objective standard (not just what's good for my people - which is a fine standard on its own), how do you define colonization? Doesn't peacefully settling a largely unsettled land count?
If we're talking about a reasonable standard of claiming property, I'm sorry but a tribe of 1000 people doesn't get to say "we own all the land from the mountains to the sea". Just no. (I'm less knowledgeable about Africa but also care less)
People invading and occupying already densely populated nations and leeching from them like parasites isn't the same thing. I don't care what the Islamists opinion is.
I define colonization as taking foregin populations and settling them into an area that is already part of a land claimed by an indigenous people, and then eventually displacing that indigenous population. Normally, there are economic, political, and military forces at work to foster the depopulation of the indigenous, or the removal thereof.
I don't disagree with the idea of a thousand people claiming all available living space, but we do have to accept that there is some limiting factor. If there was no UK government, I wouldn't consider it depopulated enough to re-settle people simply because it's not as dense as Shenzen. Some places do need to be recognized as part of an indigenous people's territorial claims (even to the point of highly mobile people), but, as you say, it can't be everything.
People invading and occupying already densely populated nations and leeching from them like parasites isn't the same thing.
It's precisely the same thing. Colonization isn't just in the form that the British Empire used.
Everyone in Europe loses 20-35% of their buying power over the span of 2 years
Living in your own property without having to rent is inaccessible to 99% of workers who can't rely on family or inheritance
Things have never been better! If I keep repeating that, reality will just reshape itself to comfort to my wishes!
These neckbeatds are going to be super mad when bitch mummy starts charging them rent for the basement and for tendies because ahe can't handle the bills otherwise
You have to go back like 100 years for the first time the economy was worse. These morons think people are talking about 1500 years ago, not 30 or 40. They're lying.
Watching America change in the 10s was heartbreaking.
Aside from the left chimping out over Trump, I think watching what they did to Star Wars was the moment I realized that everything I loved was going to be subjected to commie propaganda and destroyed. If they were willing to tank one of the biggest moneymakers in the business for ideology, it dawned on me just how powerful that ideology had become.
I've concluded that one of the more ideal American societal-cultural combinations that I can conceive of would be something like, 50% 1776, 30% 1980's, 10% 1990's, and 10% 2000's. Or something along those lines.
Maybe throw in a little bit of the old west too, but I feel like the early colonial period covers most of that pretty well.
Imagine getting to live in California with 1950s demographics, 1980s pop culture, and 1776 fuck you attitude.
Peak culture, peak economy, perfect climate, no tribe members scheming in the background. It would be heaven on earth, which is why it can never exist. The second we make a place like it, all it would take is one (likely female) person to not gatekeep hard enough and let a leftist in and the infection will spread.
Sadly, the tribe already had their hooks into things by the 80s. The Goonies is a prime example of this. Looks wholesome enough on the surface but the "good guys" are still a diverse band of plucky misfits (and the fat jew kid saves the day) while the goofy Italian mobster stereotypes are just mid-level villains and the real "bad guys" are the WASP property owners (who in the real world of 1985 had already all but sold out to aforementioned tribe).
Yup, the ever cycled nostalgia bait that Hollywood keeps rolling out without the slightest subtlety, for about the last 12 years or so.
It used to be that when they pulled some of that kind of stuff it was more about simply adding a thematic spin to something like a TV show episode. Sometimes it was a little cliche, sure, but it rarely painfully obvious marketing or pandering.
If I could lock time at January 2, 2000 I'd do it in an instant.
We were high on it being the new millennium, we'd have known Y2K was a dud, and it was before the left lost their mind with the 2000 election.
Though I'll admit when I see photos of the crazy get-ups I wore as a child in the 80s I get the feeling there was a cultural vibrancy I was a bit too young to remember now.
Remember when The Matrix came out and it said 1999 was the peak of human civilization and we all had a good laugh at how absurd that sounded? Haha... ha.
Also it wouldn’t be Christianly but I’d lock yo smack the next gen z person to use the word “colonize”. History of the freakin world is about colonization or land conquest
scientific knowledge? like men can turn into women by wishing? or that we can appease the sun God by throwing out yogurt cups in a different trashcan than our cereal boxes? or that standing on tape Xs on the floor and walking only the approved direction in the grocery store keeps us healthy? or that women have to be included whenever anything serious is being discussed?
I was thinking about the amount of diversity when I was a kid. Jax was my favorite MK character when I was little, I grew up with static shock, John Stewart(green lantern), I though Batman Beyond should’ve shacked up with Max the black chick, Blade was a fucking awesome movie, That’s so raven, Fresh Prince, ect… but I didn’t realize it because the media didn’t constantly drum on about representation, white mane bad, or race switch characters constant.
yes, everything was sad and bad in the past, you can even see it in architecture! look at how totally ugly all the buildings from Middle Ages are, compared to beautiful brutalistic cinder blocks people live in now! (if they can afford >$1k rent a month)
I'm adding "this is the best time period to exist in, why are you all complaining?" to the already obnoxiously long list of things to say when I command the firing line against these creatures.
And to be clear, thanks to that inflation that you all demanded, it sure doesn't really feel like the material conditions of the present is better.
It's like in the 1950's when the CCP commissioned statisticians to investigate how much the material conditions had improved since the revolution, and they discovered that every material condition was worse in China at that time, than it was during the Civil War and the Japanese Occupation, let alone during the dynastic period.
Here's my question, if everything's so great, how come the leading cause of death among teenagers is suicide? Why do we have kids growing up, starting to understand what death is as a concept as they become teens, and then choose to die almost immediately? Do you realize how fucking insane that is? Do you understand that no civilization previously has ever had an epidemic of suicide? Do you understand that there are entire civilizations that barely even understand the concept of suicide because it's so rare?
I feel like these are people who are being told the leading cause of death is lead poisoning, and they are telling everyone that it's normal and has always been that way, and they drink from a leaded paint can.
AFAIC, peak culture was probably 91-01, stopping right before 9/11. Technology was important, but it wasn't an all encompassing aspect of human society. No social media. What a word meant was largely understood by all of society. Computers and consoles were mostly at parity etc etc.
Always the same. They have to trot out delusional cope or come up with imaginary sexual fantasies - excuse me, historical fanfiction - to explain away why things were somehow worse back in the 1950s or, well, pick your time period.
I'd say 'spot the NPCs', but, well... gestures vaguely
Its true. Which is why there is such a hard push to bring up all the war and terror from previous eras. All of those companies and governments relied on turmoil to gain power and control people. If they can't do that, then they have to replace the common man with someone who will.
Why are they fighting for trannies? All the ngos for sexuality achieved their goals and now have no reason to exist.
Why did George Floyd get riots? Because black people have been replaced by ghetto trash.
The common man thinks things must be terrible, and if it's not, then all the laws and things to make the peace have no point. So, new terrors must be made.
colonialism was objectively good, their only mistake was letting your ancestors live out of the kindness of their hearts.
Colonialism is objectively bad. It's the same reason I oppose mass migration. I'm not going to suddenly support migration because my benighted people need civilizing. It's my home, and they're my retards. The weirdo foreigners can get out.

It's because better for them is gay shit like "diversity."
You have to go back like 100 years for the first time the economy was worse. These morons think people are talking about 1500 years ago, not 30 or 40. They're lying.
I loved the 80s and 90s.
Watching America change in the 10s was heartbreaking. Everything we grew up with is gone or gay. America died and nobody noticed.
And the massive decline in our hobbies and entertainment
Aside from the left chimping out over Trump, I think watching what they did to Star Wars was the moment I realized that everything I loved was going to be subjected to commie propaganda and destroyed. If they were willing to tank one of the biggest moneymakers in the business for ideology, it dawned on me just how powerful that ideology had become.
At least they didn't kill Blade Runner.
Yet.

Life was objectively better in every way for my people before mass migration.
The apocalypse wasn't in 2012, it was anywhere from 1945 to 1965
The past sucked in terms of technological and scientific knowledge like I DO NOT want to meet previous centuries dentists!
But culturally and as a society, there's a lot that we can learn from them.
Also elephant in the room, if the present is so great, why is the left constantly trying to ruin it?
scientific knowledge? like men can turn into women by wishing? or that we can appease the sun God by throwing out yogurt cups in a different trashcan than our cereal boxes? or that standing on tape Xs on the floor and walking only the approved direction in the grocery store keeps us healthy? or that women have to be included whenever anything serious is being discussed?
I was thinking more rockets, nuclear power, AC130s, penicillin and the Internet.
You know, actual progress not stuff that can feature in a game of 'guess who this belongs to, the left or the Azteks?'
Internet before smart phones was the peak. Having to set it up on a PC and doing more besides email was a fantastic normie gate
We will see how long we have any of that. Didn't the American government just perform a missile test to counter a Russian one and failed badly?
I'd rather be treating toothaches with cocaine, than permitting the parade of freaks we have today.
Besides there's a plethora of fake science on display today, arguably even more than the age of snake oil and hucksters.

I miss when I could enjoy black culture without being a race traitor

Materially best isn't the actual best.

If past society had modern convenience, they couldn't point at a single improvement.

Random screenshot with zero context. Again you post this trash. What the fuck is the point of these threads?
Rage bait to keep us from actually doing anything.
