Short term: the left hurts prominent private individuals that disagree with them, companies cowtow to them more or try to stay neutral

Long term: collapse of the West as companies with ANY sense are currently talking to lawyers, accountants and more shadier individuals to get their assets out of the West and to countries that are not inclined to interfere so long as they pay taxes. The risk of doing anything else is too great.

Honestly, this is a common concern at higher levels. Even the companies and people who don't like Farage are getting a shot across the bow: this can and will be done to them if they step far enough out of line. Even partial attacks if they step only part out of line.

On top of that, look what happened to Russian anti-Putin businessmen. They were labeled as Russians and immediately defunded for the crime of being Russian.

When that happens, the investment class really do start to pull out. Once it starts, and it keeps going, it will cross a point of no return where it will accelerate to a mass pull out of foreign funds.

The collapse of western financial hegemony is going to be abrupt and total. I really do think it'll look like the Soviet Union.

I agree mostly with this, but the collapse won't happen until there is another currency to move to. Currently for any given country, either globo homo can still reach it or that country is far worse about seizing assets. Russia for example took over the entire company of Pavel Durov for the crime of not censoring dissidents. It's far worse now.

I think the unfortunate likely future scenario is more cyberpunk, with competing corpos for turf and us as pawns.

I was just thinkin that wealth is really the only thing US cities have going for them right now. It's more or less anarchy in the streets. Just sort of slow burn with incidents being referred to as "crime." Sure, it is, but it's also opportunistic wealth transfer. These criminals are plying a trade. So you're not safe. What do cities have going for them? High property values b/c there's demand for now, and you can make a relatively high end business compared to the rest of the world out of satisfying all the consoomer desires. If the money leaves... well people aren't gonna stick around cuz Americans in cities are so nice.

▲ 4 ▼
– Gizortnik 4 points 2 years ago +4 / -0

These cities are going to lose 50% or more of their population. Trump's idea of "new cities" isn't actually crazy (at least for the US). American cities and towns rise and fall quite quickly compared to Europe. Look at Cleveland. The city had nearly a million people at it's peak, it's been loosing population for decades, and is sitting at 300,000, and is as poor and decaying as it's ever been. Rich parts of the city fell apart, and external suburbs have changed to become more prosperous. The American city is a shifting organism; but it's going to get very sick, very soon. Especially if foreign money starts leaving places like DC. It'll turn the whole east coast to a ghost town. You'll need new cities to rise to prominence in their stead.

▲ 4 ▼
– when_we_win_remember 4 points 2 years ago +4 / -0

It's interesting how DC came to dominate the surrounding states. A whole city funded by graft, the waste of the US government, and foreign cronyism. There might be a few businesses that just ended up there, but they'll fail too, if the money ever starts to leave. Like, imagine the US government having trouble with their budget. Imagine not being able to borrow infinitely and rather have to make a budget. it's coming.

Collapse is a slow, weathering crumble, before giving way to the sudden demolition. Withering of America by the fabians is near finished. The fiat ponzi and social security are nearing designed demise. Our values are inverted and subverted. Fools plead to government for guidance and support, rewarding depravity and spurning our pioneering spirit which led us thus far. The American republic is already dead and brought full circle; What started as a refuge for Britain's political dissidents has morphed into moral tyranny prosecuting political dissidence as its greatest transgression befitting inordinate retribution.

For thousands of years, western civilization has stood at the pinnacle. To think it could all fail so swift in one generation of useful idiots... Regard all those NPCs we mock as the Woke, as also the foretold legion. I find any existing definition of woke dissatisfying and nowhere near damning enough.

I identify Woke as a state of raving stupor induced by higher indoctrination to betray one's people, to defect one's nation, and to embrace being a quisling, by groveling in smug inevitability that socialist utopia can be marched to by canceling and progressive stacking the bodies high enough.

HOLY SHIT. They went the full Tommy Robinson treatment.

This explains why he couldn't just run for a political office, and why he said he needed more help/support. He can't run for anything if he doesn't even have a bank account.

He's going to have to do foreign transactions, but I'm not so sure how he's going to be able to do that if the Biden regime gets itself involved in the US. Then again, he might have to try Brazil, Japan, or Hungry, but it's still going to be a nightmare through regulation.

Dude, sorry to break it to ya, but South America is not the place you wanna go to if you want to escape left wing authoritarian rule.

Since the anticommunist CIA backed dictatorships fell in the 80s and early 90s the left has taken over.

Despite a brief moment in the late 2010's where you had a bunch of right leaning presidents take to power around the same time (Macri, Piñera, Bolsonaro, Áñez) the left is back with a vengeance.

Just do some research, and you'll see that pretty much all of South America is ruled by authoritarian commies that have rigged supreme courts and effectively dismantled opposition.

He is the single strongest anti-establishment voice in UK politics. He challenged the EU for years in the EU parliament, orchestrated the exit of Britain from the EU, he has been waging a massive argument against mass migration, he's pointed out the dangers of the Climate Hysteria, he opposed mask mandates, he opposed lockdowns, he opposed injection mandates, and he brought attention to the Muslim Grooming Gang scandal which rapes 9,000 girls a year in the UK.

He is also to be rumored to be making a run for parliament (and possibly the Prime Ministership) in the upcoming election; and if he were to run, he could potentially win.

▲ 10 ▼
– Gizortnik 10 points 2 years ago +10 / -0

Not the most popular dissident voice in UK politics, but one of the most aggressive. Real Name "Stephen Yaxley-Lennon"

He's one of the first people to bring attention to the Muslim Grooming Gang crisis, because the town in which he lived, the mosque was a major recruiting base for Al-Qaeda. US Intel had known it for years, but the UK protected them anyway. After the mosque's members wouldn't stop attacking people, and raping little girls, he actually created (or helped create) the English Defense League because he wanted Englishmen to patrol their neighborhoods to counter the literal bands of Muslims that would attack people in the street.

For this he became a kind of fire-brand for anti-immigration and anti-grooming rhetoric, and you can easily imagine how quickly he was vilified in the press.

He eventually left the EDL because it became more violent, and filled with glowies who didn't do anything to stop the violence against children; so he just kept pushing on media and government. Eventually, the government was revealed to be aware of major terrorist connections that many of the mosques had in the UK to Al-Qaeda and it's other AQ affiliates. The Rotheram Grooming Gang scandal was exposed, showing that the police and local governments had allowed, ignored, participated in, or covered this scandal for decades. But not just in Rotherham, but in hundreds of cities across the country. The estimates for the number of groomed and raped children across the UK over the past 40 years is somewhere around 150,000, that absolutely nobody was talking about until he started.

He is still a firebrand, and is regularly arrested or jailed for seemingly irrelevant purposes. In prison he has had his food poisoned (causing him to intentionally not eat) and he was intentionally kept with jihadists in prison. He has been slandered and defamed regularly. He has also had every financial institution in the UK shut down any financial activity anywhere in the country. He does not have a bank account (he probably has to go through many intermediaries just to eat). He is still around and still pushing against the corruption and the establishment.

That wasn't a joke about Nigel Farage, he didn't know who he was. And I answered, not with Tommy's information, but with Nigel's. Then, someone else asked about Tommy Robinson, so I answered.

Getting accurate info on Tommy, and why he's important, is actually extremely hard because even good sources only cover very specific portions of what he did, not the effects he had.

And what mantra finisher? He literally has a chant:

Oi, Tommy-Tommy, Tommy Tommy Tommy Tommy Robin-son
