2% CLAIM to regularly follow them.

I would argue the accuracy of that figure beyond the others. 2 out of 100 people seems far too high.

2% are relatives/family of a female athlete and they feel obligated to “follow” the sport because of that.

Dammit. Couldn’t downvote that one.

Everyone knows women's sports are a joke but, like everything else in this gay commie country, if you say the truth publicly under your real name then you lose your job.

20% watch them once a month? That is not realistic, who would watch any women sport once a month? I get watching some world cup or Olympics but why would anyone watch it once a month?

It's obvious. They're watching when they players are on their periods. That's the only time the sport is interesting to watch, because now they all play badly but in entertaining ways.

Not even women find women's sports interesting.

In other words, saving women's sports is definitely a worthwhile pursuit for publicans.

Yeah but change is on the horizon, fear not!! The more men in wigs that join women’s sports, the more entertaining they become to watch! In a tragic comedy kinda way, but still!

I just want trans women in women's contact sport

I see you're yet again emulating TRAs by advocating for women being physically beaten by men.

I will watch womens' golf from time to time because they have nice calves but that's about it.

There’s nothing erogenous about a calf

There's no kink shaming here.

I will mock footfags until the day I die, and then some! I'll leave notes!

I can get higher viewing figures from just jangling keys on TV for 30 minutes...

I'd probably get more regular figures from people theory crafting which keys I used, what they unlock and which one jangled the loudest..

I would guess that the 2% is athletes keeping up with sports. Athletes are much more likely to keep up with sports.

I used to, when the WNBA was new. Then the Houston Comets contracted.

They didn't move. They didn't rebrand. They outright FOLDED.

That was the team that won the league's first FOUR championships, by the way.

Then the Houston Comets contracted.

Well, y'know, Houston isn't really much of a sports town, and Texas in particular just doesn't watch a lot of sports. Or Basketball.

They only have multiple professional teams in all the major leagues and everything. Pretty small time. Not like New York where they have two teams in the same city for multiple pro leagues. The Mavs, Rockets, and Spurs all struggle for viewership and can't attract the superstars and have barely won any championships since the mid '90s. What, like 8 in the last 30 years?

Can hardly blame them for going bust in a tough market.
