The misspelling of Elven is what really puts the icing on the cake here. Shows exactly how much they care about the minor bits of language in a work famous for the absurd lengths the author put into linguistics.

My guess:
The female orc will be a leader among orcs, surrounded by other strong female orcs, despite making 0 sense from what we've seen, will be highly intelligent and would have brought a golden age for the orcs if it was not for the orc patriarchy. She will be incredibly strong, better tactician and liked by most and at the same time a victim of the evil barbarian orc males.

I expect they will try but I do not see how they can. Is just one country invading another country, this was the norm for most of human history. There is nothing particular about Russia vs Ukraine that they can add that would stand out in a medieval setting.
You know what would do it? Zelensky himself playing as a king and getting invaded by some cartoonish evil neighboring kingdom where the king is a Putin lookalike.
It's cringe to do it, but not too difficult. There are two separate tribes of orcs, one led by the thing in the OP (call it the Urukine tribe or something, though that may be too obvious even for Hollywood), and one led by an angry male orc. The heroes will have several fights with the Urukine, including the alluded to scene above where they are either narrowly defeated and driven off (but the noble Urukine spare them for some reason), or just narrowly win (but many of the Urukine in the fight can safely retreat). A few episodes later, the second orc tribe attacks the Urukine to force them to join their evil war machine which is rampaging across Middle Earth, and the Urukine ask the heroes for help, as the Urukine have been demonstrated to be honorable and somewhat noble while the second tribe is just a bunch of murderhobos.
While that plot is bad in itself, outside of being called Urukine it would not really scream it is a representation of Ukraine vs Russia. Stuff like that happens.
They can always just ask the media say it is about Ukraine and be done for it.

Not the main point, and probably the fault of IGN, not the Amazon writers, but it's Elven, not Elvin. I've never seen "Elvin," although at least it's better than the more common "elfin," at least if we're talking Tolkien.

I don't understand why we continue to accept IP law fucking us up the ass like this. If they don't care about the original story and are going to put out ridiculous fanfiction either way, why does Amazon or any corporation get exclusive permission to write stories with Tolkien's characters? IP law is Chrony Capitalism exemplified. It empowers empty shell companies that create nothing but have money to buy the creations of those who came before. It's an artificial construct propped up by legal fictions. Why can't we end this today?
If you care about the free market, you should want anybody to be able to write any story they choose using these characters that Tolkien gifted to the world and which have become timeless cultural icons. The best creations which our culture deems worthy will succeed in the market. Woke corpo trash will fail.

i'm fully fine with returning to the original copyright as stated in the constitution. you get a set period to make your money through exclusivity, and then you're done. make it count.
It is. The problem is that Disney lobbied to male it "life of the author plus 125 some odd years” in the 2000s, which is insane.
I prefer progressive copyright. To copyright something, you submit all relevant material to the National Copyright Library which also acts as an archive. It costs a fee to do so, which maintains the Library.
The fee is $1 for the first year, to allow anyone to copyright their work. The second year is $2, third year is $4, doubling every year until no one wants to pay it and the work reverts to public domain.
This way a five or even ten year copyright is reasonable, but 20 would be unlikely unless the work was pretty popular, and upwards of 50 would be nuts.
Intellectual property tax.
That makes sense because it provides a release valve for new companies to come in and demonopolize unexploited properties that have become stale and are taking up space in the market. Actual property tax works the same way (especially in commercial districts), though I don't think it's fair in that situation because you're talking about literal property which they tell us we own, not rent from the government.
(I don't know the technical name but other types of intangible resources that have this quality are shelf space in stores - which the store owner regulates - and the public airwaves.)
Add returning ALL laws to only what's stated in the constitution and you've got yourself a deal.

How are you supposed to tell which ones are female?
If they're anything like most carnivorous large land species, they're three-quarters the size but of similar bite strength and head size (distinguishing them from adolescent male orcs). Statistically speaking, they're also uglier, as in almost all large land species the male develops the more marked secondary characteristics in order to show fitness and attract mates (manes, crests, tusks, antlers, etc).

Those are Uruk-hai, Saruman's super-orcs. Regular orcs are elves who were corrupted by Morgoth before the First Age. They breed like rabbits so there must be some females somewhere.

The hobbit and lotr were the only books from middle earth lore published in his lifetime.
His son Christopher gathered and curated his notes and published The Silmarillion after Tolkien passed. Lots of other stories have been published based on JRRs notes.
It's a relatively challenging read.
