It takes a special kind of 70 IQ subhuman to literally put PhD in its username, as if we will be impressed. We all know that it was not something that took any talent or perseverance.

I learned about the Slavs through Thomas Sowell. His lesson on slavery should be mandatory learning. The number of people who think slavery is some unique western/ American invention is off the charts.
If someone had the guts to do it I’ve always thought a miniseries about the wealthiest black slave owner in America would be interesting and eye opening for many.
I’d kill for a realistic series on black slave owners in the antebellum, there’s so much history thrown in the trash that could be prominent and unifying. If we had a real Roots that showed that black and white people were both sources of slavery, and that most wealthy black men at that time period were all slave owners.

Seems like most people's idea of the history of slavery is maybe a vague understanding that it happened historically through the Greeks and Romans, sorta stopped for a while a little later after that, and then started again when Europeans discovered black people.

I hate to break it to you, but blacks are already hostile towards education. They call it "acting white". I've gotten to work with a handful of black engineers over the years, and they've all been on the receiving end of it.

I've got very little respect for a PhD. It's not nearly as much of an accomplishment as it's given credit for. It's just a title for staying in school longer and selling your soul to academia. At least that's how it seemed when I was in college. You want a PhD be prepared to figuratively (and perhaps literally) suck an absolute ton of dick. That was in engineering even, I can only imagine in the artsy studies.
Probably the most practical use for a PhD I've seen in industry is it seems to fast-track you for project management and people management positions, because if you had to deal with grants and (under)graduate assistants to help you with your work the skills directly translate.

The persians are one of the few who kept their language (nearly all other cultures now speak arabic), and they kept a lot of their traditions and ways (while most others are surprisingly similar as arabic), and they managed to save some of their cultural history and art from the islamic iconoclasm, which almost no other cultures managed to do. That's why there is an identifiable perian culture today, but hardly an Egyptian one, or Jordanian one, or Babylonian one, etc, who have all just become Arabic. Even zoroastrianism survived in some parts of Iran.
