Less strict now, but still stricter than westerners. They have been accepting international students to their medical program for years though because it pays well and the medical program in Pl is considered to be very very good. Most of the people who graduate in their international medical universities don't stay because the polish medical education is accepted pretty much everywhere, so they leave to do their residency elsewhere and start earning good money immediately.
Yeah, the Poles aren't well pleased about it. There are groups of vigilante men at the borders acting as militia border patrol because of this, and now the germans are driving into the forests and are caught using backroads to do their dirty business.
I'm trying to read "Christ Recrucified" by Nikos Kazantzakis--it's quite good but my attention is often pulled away from other things and I have small kids which makes reading anythign that requires focus and time almost impossible.
he died to complete the covenant, as one last sacrificial offering on behalf of all mankind. Following that sacrifice, we are no longer obligated to follow the original formula for redemption. But there is a new covenant that requires another action on our part, which is to follow the example of Christ and accept his offer.
They took grey wolves and edited in 14 sequences recovered from a tooth and a skull. Actual direwolves were reddish brown (we have preserved specimens, complete with fur). These are direwolves in the same way your chihuahua is a desert fox. They are at best a weak hybrid. Until the company backbreeds and introduces significantly (read: a majority) more recovered dna, this is not a successful de-extinction.
It IS the christly thing to do, but forgiving him doesn't mean bending to evil or condoining his actions. Decrying what he did, expecting justice and being clear about the nature of his sin is not inherent in forgiveness. Too many people seem to think forgiveness means being spineless. It means not seeking revenge, not being sinful in turn--but anger and grief are acceptable and necessary emotions for christians too.
The college of doctors and vets have made it nearly impossible to become certified and artificially lowered the number of practitioners. I have a cousin who is trying to become a vet and the entry requirements for veterinary school are strangely even harder than for a doctor, PLUS they have a gate on the absolute number of candidates they accept per semester. There is never more than a certain number of students allowed in a year.
It would be a shame, Braun has some great zingers. Once, when a reporter asked him if the past of Karol Nawrocki (newly elected president and boxer) disturbed him , Braun answered "I'm more disturbed by your present".
