Antonio has even me posting this stuff now, that's how persuasive that style of argument is, as I've warned about repeatedly. I guess this Auschwitz survivor, Anne Frank's stepsister, is a Holocaust Denier too.
It's fun to learn new things. The funniest part was I legitimately had no idea of the significance of that portion of the image. Imagine my surprise.
So, yeah, don't just go believing random images on the internet; do your research, guys. It can lead to hilarious results.
EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm not saying the Holocaust was fake, I threw in the "denialism" thing in in regards to the past argument, tongue in cheek. "Denialism" is a stupid accusation meant to shut down discussions. There are plenty of elements about the Holocaust that are fake and propaganda. She's not a Holocaust denier either; in fact she seems to say Auschwitz was worse than the liberation pictures show...but it's very odd that the pictures are fakes. Just wanted to clarify. A bunch of fake shit around the Holocaust though, but that doesn't mean none of it happened.
That's about where I am now. There's no question that the Nazis were responsible for more than their fair share of atrocities. But there's so much weird stuff surrounding the specifics that leads to questions about what's legit and what isn't. The fact that you're not allowed to ask these questions without being treated as pure evil just makes the narrative even more suspect.
Mix in the shocking evils of Weimar Germany that most histories conviniently leave out, and you have the perfect storm to convince people that the whole thing is one big conspiracy and scam.
Personally, I'm of the opinion that it was an actual tragedy that has been conspiratorially inflated and exaggerated for political leverage. Not a total lie, but definitely not the entire truth.
I remember in school being taught about inmates being masturbated to death by machines in the camps. The next year (they taught months of the Holocaust every single year) I asked about the masturbation machines and the teacher yelled at me and said no one ever said that.
Also, the roller coaster of death, the electric pool of water, the bear and eagle in a cage. Those were once taught as well. Then they just decided to act like they never were.
They used to say Natzis would put jews in these minecarts that would rush down a slope and throw them into the oven. Either that or spikes.
There was another one of a bear in the cage they would throw jews in. Some stories had an angry eagle added that would pluck out their eyes.
Another had them crowded together in a room slowly filling up with water that would be shocked when the water level was high enough- Batman villain style.
These are all tales they told to make those darn Natzis seem so evil and cruel. I remember the masturbation machines one told to me in class.
Now jews say they never told stories like that. It's bullshit.
Oh, but the six million of them in ovens, without one buried pile of ashes being found, that one is true. They mean it this time. For real. No kidding guys
