China is what you get when a highly intelligent nation lacks the moral foundations of Christianity, and never had the Greco-Roman legal tradition. They are a highly tribal and amoral nation who steal without compunction, and look out only for their own families.

highly intelligent

Press x to doubt. China pumps out lots of fake data to present a narrative. They’re a nation of bug people who still to this day cling to a modern emperor because the majority don’t have the capacity for self governance. The only reason china has any relevance whatsoever is globalists pumping them up for decades with investments which are now biting them in the ass because surprise, China is China.

You know what? Unlike most people here, I think democracy is a good thing, but looking at the complete mess that is Europe and the US, I don't think we either have it or that we're capable of it.

He is a European man. Your mistaken impression is completely understandable though, as it is impossible to tell their men and women apart when just going off of something they wrote.

Your devices might be a bit off. Or you're a believe in transgenderism.

I'm sure there were more reasonable and moral people there in the past, but the grandparents of the current chinese population killed and ate them.

Yes. It was natural selection at work. I'd imagine there's a similar phenomenon with good eyesight in Cambodia after Pol Pot ordered the execution of anyone wearing glasses because they might be seditious intellectuals or readers.

China went through three sets of purges in the 20th century. One by the republic against communists, one by the Japanese against anyone brave enough to fight back, and one against artists, academics, and creatives who either remembered or could imagine something other than the CCP.

China is a product of biology, politics, and philosophy.

How do you explain Japan then?

They are a highly tribal and amoral nation who steal without compunction, and look out only for their own families.

That's a result of Communism. Not because the absence of Christianity. Mao utterly destroyed any cultural and societal foundation China had and replaced it with pure, unscrupulous, terrorized egotism where people will fuck over even their own families.

Even a thousand years ago, in the days when Confucius institutes were where you went to hopefully get a government job, the highest goal of many was to get on the government dole and direct government money to family members.

Now it is CCP membership that gets you access to graft and corruption. The labels have changed, but the overall culture is the same, a culture that has persisted for thousands of years.

"In fact, by 2005, some 96% of the 500 largest enterprises in China are in the hands of party members. Yet, yet still abroad, you have those who go on and on about the 'private sector' in China. Of course, it's there. There was a private sector under Lenin, with the new economic policy after the first World War. Communists will always allow some leniency to the private sector, when they need it, only to clamp down when they believe it is no longer required." ~ Frank Dikötter

Every company in America and Europe hurting today, having lost billions and billions in China, have only themselves to blame. They literally ran into the serpent's mouth thinking they'd be allowed to pillage China and haul all that wealth back home. Instead they burned trillions collectively building up China and were then told they couldn't cash-out their "profits." The big, smart Ivy League capitalists got played by the "ignorant" commies.

Not that it hasn't happened before, either. Look what happened to Chevron, Total and Citgo in Venezulla. Chavez invited them into Venezuela and offered them the oil for free, on the condition that they train Venezuelans how to work all the machines. So the oil companies spent their cash building wells and refineries and roads and teaching the Venezuelans how to use it all. Then Chavez said, "Thanks, now get the fuck out!"

That's literally the same rug-pull that China ran on Tesla and every other Western automaker out there. All these Western firms thought they were going to get their dick wet on some cheap Chinese poon. They got their dicks cut off, their money stolen, and their kidneys are missing.

Did you make this up on the spot?

They got their dicks cut off,

I'm not sure transgenderism is really a Chinese thing.

If you look at the Chinese social media you can see their entire economy was propped up by exports using near slave labors, and now the export is being cut off by the US and eventually Europe, the factories are shutting down, workers losing their jobs, the surrounding businesses also losing their jobs and the Chinese government can't/won't do anything to help because the profits made during the last 30 years were used to fund the military, tofu dreg infrastructures, unfinished real estate developments, infrastructure loans to 3rd world countries and government embezzlement. The ccp government did nothing to develop a sustainable economy.

I'm not sure if we should be casting stones, given the state of our own ability to manufacture physical goods for ourselves.

"... because the profits made during the last 30 years were used to fund the military, tofu dreg infrastructures, unfinished real estate developments, infrastructure loans to 3rd world countries ..."

"Its always been the same story for all of these communist regimes. They spend great amounts of money into projecting an image of power, stability, and wealth. So from 1949 onwards, not just from the moment that good old chairman died in '76, but from the very beginning they poured vast resources in building up cities, nice beautiful buildings, highways, eliminating all the dirt — including people who don't belong in these cities — round them up, get rid of them. That image, unfortunately, is not the only aspect that you will find in China." ~ Frank Dikötter

I've read this book. It's mostly wishful thinking. Note that there are no tent cities in the streets of Beijing, nor addicts everywhere, like there are in basically every Western country - including this guy's.

No, because the CCP has the power and propaganda to round them up at gunpoint and ship them out to countryside villages. Idiot.

▲ 2 ▼
– AntonioOfVenice 2 points 1 year ago +2 / -0

I couldn't give you one - the topic is too vast and my memory too shot. But basically, if you compare it to someone like the execrable Fukuyama, who calls Deng Xiaoping the greatest statesman of the 20th century, it was consistently putting a negative spin on everything - including Deng. It was as if it was written by someone with an axe to grind.

This same thing was true of his earlier books, but there it was at least justified.

Now show us where the western countries have been building ghost cities to prop up a counterfeit economy like China has. A dictatorship cracking down on their homeless and keeping them out of sight isn't the own on the west you seem to think it is.

I can show you a western country that's building a ghost currency to prop up a counterfeit economy.

A dictatorship

Good thing we're not. We're a democracy. Imagine if the rulers could do anything they wanted, like bring in millions of illegals, promote transgenderism and incite hatred against the majority race. Or indict their political opponents 91 times.

cracking down on their homeless and keeping them out of sight isn't the own on the west you seem to think it is.

I guess they're missing out on the blessings of stepping through human feces on a daily basis.
