Linux has dramatically gone to shit in the last 5 years. The entire Fedora and Debian branches are completely pozzed, and for now it seems Arch is the only distro that matters.
In theory, sure, but in practice the principles of open source are as useful as the constitution is at stopping infinity immigrants. Look at the XLibre situation where almost no distro wants to support it purely for political reasons, and even Linux news sites were prematurely declaring it to be unreliable, untrustworthy, or not newsworthy.
The beauty of open source is that it doesn't matter too much
and who is going to fork it or make a new one now all the old school nerds are dying off and their replacements and funding are
coming from woke places?

There's been a lot of shit just below the surface for longer. It just there people have finally managed to grab enough power to fuck everything up.
The beauty of open source is that it doesn't matter too much.
Edit: that said, Ubuntu is gay and no one should be using it these days

People from shit hole countries where woke doesn't exist.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall hearing some time ago that Arch was gong full-bore on the leftist-gobbledygook-festooned CoC thing.
Hope I'm mistaken, because I still have aspirations for an autodidactic Arch journey at some point.
Use Void. Ubuntu has systemd and is unreliable.
Canonical's response: Well, he served his time.
